FF should have an olympic lifting platform though. sheesh/
*
I think the reason for that is because they aren't many people who does that.

Heck, there aren't many people who uses the free weights session over here. So I doubt FF would build a specialized area just for Olympic lifting.

Just before I left Melbourne, my university have a decent sized room dedicated for Olympic lifters. The requirements is that you always need a coach to oversee your training and a medic on stand by, just in case you hurt yourself. Sounds very professional to me.

I joined last year the price was as follows:

RM99 Administration
RM159 for Home per month
RM179 for Passport per month

If your employer sponsor you might be like the following (at least for mine)

RM99 Administration
RM100 for Home per month
RM130 for Passport per month

Dear all,

My last day in Manulife Fitness First will be on Saturday after the final move to Oneworld Hotel office block.

I am glad to meet so many people that I will probably miss when I go to Damansara Uptown ones.

I will write a tribute here and in my workout journal for those who I've known in Manulife Fitness First.

Thanks guys.

Cheers,

Ken

Haiya, I definitely must thanked to those who made my gym life here so much fun and interesting.

Without that, I probably won't look forward to go to gym.

Thanks to work and moving boxes this week and last, I was unable to attend gym till tomorrow. sad.gif

Dear good people,

If you have time or want to kill some boredom, please look up www.malaysiaupclose.blogspot.com.

I belong to a group that calls itself Outskirt Outreach, based in Ipoh. We raise fund to help hidden Orang Asli communities around Kinta valley. The main aim of starting this blog is to give urbanites and young generation a window to look and learn about the countryside, one that has nothing to do with Taman-Negara-like touristy spots. This is real.

Do visit our blog regularly as it is updated on weekly basis with lots of interesting stories, photos and points to ponder. It's about spurring everyone's intellectual curiousity and educating oneselves about Malaysian outdoors. We organise rainforest trekking trips for exercise on periodical basis. Look out for annoucement on the blog.

We welcome feedbacks. Thanks a heap.

Thanks, I will alternate between both Curve and Uptown ones.

Uptown one is a lot closer to my home than Curve (less than 5 mins from home), I carpool to work so it's not convenient half the time.

Uptown has a lot of cardiovascular equipment but really lacks in free weights area big time. They should really upgrade that area.

Might drop by Curve during Mondays or Wednesdays.

Cheers

I use the Uptown one for the same reason.

Also because there's a McDonald's right next door. Yum!

Also there's a Subway Restaurant like the other side of the road.

Subway is really expensive man, I had like a foot long one for RM25 or more.

When do you hit the gym, Angrydog?

I probably will be hitting the gym randomly on the week after work probably around 6-7 pm, hopefully 3 times a week....

Cheers
