How long have you been thinking of exercising etc... reduce stress level... How long can you spend exercsing... how long can you exercise... bla... blaa... just had one session last evening...... QUOTE(dattebayo @ Feb 27 2008, 01:28 PM) I entered the LM branch on last sun, using one day pass given by friend, the promoters/sales/MC/front desk didn't say anything to me also When I went there before I joined, they called up a consultant for me and my friend. Then the consultant will ask about your exercise habit, objective, target etc. Then brought me walk around, telling me that other fitness center doesn't have so-and-so facility. Lastly, they told me about the special promotion that is only available on that day and convincing me that I should join on that day itself.

Lets see, I've paid something like RM149 +RM286. RM149 - for the 3 session personal trainer (you don't have to take this) and RM286 must be for like RM99 Admin plus something, something? I took the home one ie monthly RM159. Just had my first personal training session yesterday... arg still difficult even to type this now.

No sane person would pay for the outrageous joining fees (RM500 i think)...regardless of what the sales ppl claim. Get it waived or just walk out. The RM99 admin fee may be harder to get waived though. Also, always be on the lookout for any promos such as additional benefits for being loyal with them (>1 yr)...e.g. towel service, additional branch entry for Home members, freebies, etc etc.

Hey Cicin...
I'm just wondering, if I tell you that my goal is to build upper body strength, what would you recommend that I do?

Right... but say, you joined in pg, are you allowed to utilise ur passport in kl clubs or any limitations? I've checked with the clubs in kl, apparently their student passport membership has time frames where you can and can't come in (ie. can't come during peak hrs: something like 6-8 am & pm) This post has been edited by babyliz: Mar 11 2008, 11:59 AM

I'm a member @ FF Menara Manulife. Paying Rm165/month for their so called student passport membership. I can go in and out anytime i want. No time restriction. Peak or off peak, just swipe the card and you're in...
