Last question and sorry for bugging your life cause I am really interested with 408T and if possible would like to get the best deal. How do you find out about this 10k promo? Did you manage to request for it?

coz january offer is 8K, but CSL showroom give 8K + 1K = 9K discount

Just to ask, is the 208 official launched? Show car and test drive unit available in show room? Really wanna molest this beauty.

I think can test drive in bukit tinggi klang. I already did a round of test drive in kampung pandan branch, same place where I bought my 508.

Gearshift a bit jerky, and when you gun the throttle memang tarak kick at low revs but once it goes around 3000+ you can feel a sudden pull, but not too urgent. Seems a good car, just the center arm rest can be a bit annoying since it's blocking the handbrake lever. Gotta raise the arm rest to properly reach the lever.

Steering wheel is really micro-sized, and the meter clusters is located above the steering. Need some getting use to as all the cars I driven before this, all meter clusters are behind the steering wheel.

Road noise insulation is relatively good, but I dont know if the same could be said if it's anything faster than 90kmh. Overall, quite impressed. Wife also likes it. Probably getting it for the wife late of this year. For sure couple months down the road they will be giving discounts or some other promo. Already felt cheated being first batch 508 buyer, where I only get 3 years warranty and 0 discount so I'm gonna take my time this time around.

I also went to see the 5-door 208 at CSL last saturday, but didnt get to testdrive it. Somehow it doesnt give me the wow factor compared to other cars in it class, whereas the 408 really did wow me. The thing i liked about the 208 is the seating position, and the small steering wheel, which will be useful for my wife.

to tell you the truth...i never really concern about FC, im more toward spirited driver, i will floor the pedal whenever i hv chance smile.gif
i choose turbo bcoz i wan to feel the turbo tongue.gif but stil not satisfied though, the throttle lag is kinda annoying even in the S mode..maybe they set it like that to extend the turbo engine life.

edit : does anyone hear wooo wooo sound from the dashboard esp if u slow down the car? is it from the gearbox?
