QUOTE(robinyan @ Apr 16 2013, 11:09 AM) Custom made spacer? So we definitely cant look for it outside those normal tyre shop? What happen to your original rims then? You trade in? Peugeot wheel hub different from other car..even our OEM rim tighten with screw not from nut...so need to custom it..sure u can purchase the spacer from tyre shop..but they will get engineering company do that for them. I keep back my original rims since they just only pay RM1k for it..when i think it back..it not worth it..so i decided to keep it. |

I was walking inside a shopping mall's car park last night and a white 408T drove past me at low speed. Is this car's engine supposed to be that noisy? If I didn't look at it I'd have thought it was an old Proton Saga or something. Or maybe that particular car has some faults.

U can sell it on Peugeot Club Malaysia if you wish to, should can get a better price. |

Some bought from overseas which I worried may lost parcel n for sure may damage during transportation. I know one place which also do it, quick-save auto boutique. QUOTE(SKYjack @ Apr 15 2013, 07:31 PM) Elantra is a pretty car and the 1.8L does match 2L power. However the engine is not as refined as the engine on the 408NA. Elantra's engines strain a loud roar upon hard acceleration. Elantra does not match 408NA handling. This is where the Pug is a class above For a indirect comparison:I have a 1.6L Elantra and 1.6 408T sit in my car porch and the noticeable difference is : Elantra Pros Really Light steering wheel and easy to drive around town Nice sound system (heard that 1.8 HU is not ori and suck big time) spacious cabin Very sporty and sexy looking car Fast cooling air con Cons Handling suck big time.. woobling left and right when hit on uneven road.. Even Mazda 3 is better than Elantra Engine sound suck big time when pedal to metal.. the engine like screaming for help above 4K RPM.. Although on paper the power figure is highest in it's class.. but I can really feel it..felt under power on stand still and pickup I have try to be gentle on the pedal.. max I get is 20cent/KM town driving 408T Pros Nice engine note when accelerate Needless to say.. Powerfull!! Handling are top notch more spacious than Elantra Steering feedback is precise and confident when maneuver at corner.. but prolong drive I feel kinda a fatigue with the constant uneven road feel transfer to the steering Cons: Air con not than cool in the afternoon.. even you turn to "LO" Sound system suck big time Higher fuel consumption Very very addictive..every time I drive alone without CFO beside me.. I tend to pedal to metal.. just to hear the faint sound of "pssshhtt" Boring back side look really really loud engine fan noise Dusty brake pad and with this kind of multi spoke rim.. wash me die! Overall.. Elantra is like Korea Kpop singer.. heavily disguise in cosmetic sugery.. just for the look.. while 408T is like truffles.. looks is not that appealing but wait till you taste it This post has been edited by kwchan_7: Apr 16 2013, 05:49 PM |
