For iphone users, in the previous thread I mentioned about disabling the a2dp (streaming) protocol on your phone, and bluetooth will work flawlessly, but for phonecalls only. This however would require you to jailbreak your phone and install a cydia app called "bluetooth services" or something.

Recently I updated to ios6, and obviously its no longer jailbroken, so I cant disable the a2dp protocol as previously. What I did now is to manually disconnect the streaming option from the peugeot bluetooth menu. To put it in simpler steps:
1. Connect your iphone to car using Menu > Bluetooth > Bluetooth Configuration > Connect/disconnect an Equipment > Telephone Function > iPhone*
2. There will be astatus message at your car's display with a pic of a phone and text saying "iPhone*"
3. There will be a second status message, saying "Streaming iPhone* Connected"
4. Right after the second message, immediately go into the Menu > Bluetooth > Bluetooth Configuration > Connect/disconnect an Equipment > Audio Streaming Function > iPhone
5. There will be another status message, saying "Streaming iPhone* Disconnected"

This way it will disconnect or disable the streaming function of the car, and will only use bluetooth for phonecalls.

Connecting bluetooth from your phone (by tapping the PEUGEOT in your phone bluetooth menu) will connect a2dp first, then only handsfree, which makes it disconnect straight away. By using the steps I mentioned above, you will connect the the handsfree protocol first, then the streaming function, which we immediately disable before it disconnects us.

I just recently found this steps today, and tried a few times with my phone successfully. Could other users try it too to see if its working?

Edit: repaired typos, rephrased words, rearranged sentences, and etc2

I plan to send my car back to Mr Choong. The water beading effect is almost gone for my bonnet. Anyway did he tell anyone when he'll close shop for CNY?

Just go for the thp patrick wink.gif

I chose the thp coz of the extra torque that helps me in overtaking through my weekly commute through state roads which most of the time is full of lorries. Other than that, the leather seats (yes I've leather fetish lol).

I dont give a fuss over possibilities of problems, since I know problems can come anytime to any car or any engine or any equipment, and I have my wife's car as backup.

I think I got among the lowest here since i do weekly commute from KL to Segamat, and it averages about 8.3L/100km (see my siggie). Anyway I dont use the fuel consumption reading on the MFD since its not really accurate to the actual fuel consumption.

For a one way trip, I do about 100km of highway w/autocruise, 50km of federal roads, and 50km of town roads.

ya i just want know the PCD..thanks for the information...i thinking to special order the Spacer 4 x 108mm PCD to 4 x 108mm PCD and maybe will order another spacer with 4 x 108mm PCD to 5 x 114.3mm PCD as i do have 18inch sport rim with 114.3mm PCD
*
Ooo I see. Sounds feasible, but got to check the wheel arch clearance whether it can fit 18 inchers with the extra 1" offset or not. Plus I think it will void warranty..I already asked the SC several times, and they said even the smallest mod of changing the tyre profile or width will void warranty...sigh

That's not the way you tell how good your car FC is. The MFD isn't accurate. The best way is to do it like what I do. Record down your mileage (total km travelled on trip A for example) when you fill up your empty petrol tank. Note down the total amount of fuel bought (total liters) and enter both figures into fuelly (www.fuelly.com), and you will know exactly what kind of mileage your car is doing.

+1

Yup the mfd isnt accurate. i've been doing this since my previous car, continue to use it with my 408 thumbup.gif

CMC2 is noisy for me...I wonder how's CSC3's noise level...I used T1R and PS3 before on my old satria, and PS3's noise level is somewhat good with the grip level that it gives..

guys, i really serious on it..as our car really look funny at wheel side...last weekend i was free so i went to few shop looking for the wheel..unfortunately..there is no 4x108 18inch wheel available..few of them recommend me to the wheel spacer and install 18" 5x114 wheel..im still consider it as if can..i just want to buy wider sport rim without using any spacer coz i scared if i load the spacer it will make my car vibrate..thinking to import the 18" 4x108pcd from U.K as they have plenty and many choice to choose...u can see following picture during my last weekend wheel explorer..  biggrin.gif  tongue.gif
*
Yeah 4x108 is really hard to find, and as far as I know only the 308 and 408 uses these. As far as spacers go, as long as they're perfectly balanced then I think should be no problem on vibration. I'll try my luck at Quicksave to checkout some rims later when I got the moolah. Anyway which part of JB are you from? I think I'll be going back to my hometown JB this weekend.

I changed my rims too. Its wasnt that hard to find. Here is a website for you to have a look. As long there is a will, there is a way.

Agreed thumbup.gif Somehow I am quite picky when it comes to rims tongue.gif Did a lot of browsing online of different makes, havent found one which really makes me say wow yet.

Once u start modding your car, it never stops.
*
Agreed. The pursuit of performance, or comfort, or looks will never end once modding starts. Spent a lot on my previous car, just to sell it at the same price as the car without mods, maybe less.

Now I'm just keep telling myself to be satisfied with what I have, and not pursue something that will never end. But the urge to mod is killing me lol tongue.gif
