Hi, before buy Nissan serena I have consider to buy mazda 5 sky active and test drive before. My friend also drive mazda 5 sky active, FC is normal no like that agent said can save more petrol. Maybe my friend and me also drive over 130km/h on highway tongue.gif

normally what the car company report on FC are normally difficult to get on real life driving.

If I'm not wrong, current M5 in Malaysia is not on skyactive technology ...

Serena challenger >>> Mazda Biante Skyactiv-G 2.0 newly launch at Malaysia yesterday.

RM146,000 OTR. Info taken out fr paultan.org

Base on net info, Mazda JC08 FC rate is only 14.8 l/km, still Serena FC better 15.2. biggrin.gif.

RM 146k CBU biante is a big slap to TC Serena which enjoy the full tax exemption and sold at much higher price tag.
Serena tops the sale in japan is purely becos of the great tax exemption for hybrid car which is resulted in much cheaper price compare tot any other mid size mpv there.

No point arguing.
This thread is for already owners of the Serena to discuss about the car.
We owners know what this car is all about. No need for non owners to tell us which and which is more worth it.
If Biante is Great....open a new thread and discuss about that. Period.

Hehe... i am also one of the happy owners too. biggrin.gif

yet to test drive Biante but so far really happy with the Serena. Personal point of view, from the spec sheet, Serena lose in term of no control knob for music volumn and channel control, slightly wider tyre size(205 vs 195), no front sensor,

On the other hand, Serena win in terms of versatility of 2nd and 3rd row seats (biggest advantage, for me lah), electronic control rear air-cond, cruise control, real push-start button,

Look is subjective but I prefer the tall boxy Serena look and overall package.

At Rm150,000, I'll choose Serena. But if money is no issue I'll buy the new odyssey http://paultan.org/2013/11/14/2013-honda-o...hed-at-klims13/ brows.gif

Hi, all serena bro....

i had tried it at highway with speed 140km/hr. average fc is about 11km/l using eco mode.
fc,engine sound and rpm is better than innova. rpm just 2500 versus4000 rpm for innova.
The best fc is driving at 90km/l. The higher the speed we go on, the less of fc we can get.

Would like to hear more about other bro driving in highway experiance.

As for highway speed with 110 km/hr, my average fc is about 13.5 km/l using eco mode. It definitly more than 11 km/l wink.gif
