Went to see it last night..

My personnel observation:-

Good:-
1. Keyless push start
2. Digital meter
3. Roomy compare to Toyota Innova, Wish, Or maybe same room space as Estima
4. 2 power sliding door
5. CVT gear box
6. Fuel saving(according to manufacture)
7. Variable seat configuration according to individual need

No Good:-
1. All plastic interior, look so so on the build quality
2. All seat is quite hard
3. Second row center seat is not comfortable due to the center slider arm rest
4. Third row seat is quite low for adult, but ok for children
5. No HID
6. No front sensor
7. No steering volume control. No convenient to control volume every time by hand reach

Not able to test drive due to quite late already and the SA ask me come over other day for test drive.

My conclusion is nothing is perfect on every car design. If this is your choice go for it.

If you dont mind recond car with higher price and with better spec and better design then go for it.

The decision is always on your hand..

I went to one of Melaka branch. The SA said their profit is very marginal which the maximum commission they can get for each Serena is RM800. So the maximum they can offer me is RM500.

Usually nissan will offer high second hand car trade in price but this time i ask they just offer me very cheap trade in price. So just say bye bye to this Serena for this time being.

Price wise I think we no need to argue so much here. The money is on your hand. if you feel the money you pay is worth so just go for it. No need to complaint either cheap or expensive.

We are here at Malaysia if Malaysian do not have the capability to produce those quality car forever we will need to pay for higher.

For those already booking I wish you have a nice riding and enjoy your new ride.

At least TCM gives customer choice to have few spec to choose. I think a lot customer willing to pay more with those higher spec gadgets.

The spec TCM import in should the most lowest spec available.

and one thing, steering wheel audio control i think is a most basic feature TCM also taken out. Even our local made Exora and Alza also have this option. Dunno later on can add in this feature or not?

Initially I also plan to trade in my car to get the new Serena. As I mention early this time they really offer the trade in car in very low rate. The SA even not interest to trade in my car and ask me sell it on my self.

And I not sure other branch SA same or not. The branch I visit seem he is not understand the car much. Before I go I did study most of the feature from internet and when I go and wish to double confirm from the SA but he even dunno what I am asking about. Maybe they are too busy without understand their new model before introduce to customer.

I visit the branch 2 days after new Serena launch and the SA saying if he found other use car dealer can trade in my car higher he will call me back. So far no return call from them.

The time really hot and wish to get the car immediate if everything ok but after about 1 months the desire to buy already drop and I am happy with my old ride now..

seem the 15.2km/l spec only valid with 100% highway driving with maybe 90km/h cruising speed and without air cond on.

Initially plan to trade in my year 2003 Alphard 2.4 to Serena for better FC. My old ride now still manage to hit 8km/L for 100% city ride and 12km/L for 100% high way ride with cruising speed 100-120kmh.
