the best practice if u don't wanna void your suspension and absorber is change to the new adjustable damper and keep that original .....hikhihkhihk....it will looked more nicer, comfortable n lower...

Err...not normal, I think.

Did you stuck at 9.9km/l for a full tank of petrol? Or did you accidentally put your car on sport mode.

It is normal if you have just fill up your tank and drive less than 50km. However, the number should rise as you drive further and the meter gets more accurate.

Even town driving can get me 11km/l. On the highway, I can get as high as 14.8km/l on a full tank average. A full tank on the highway can get you over 700km.

hi, i'm from johor bahru. how come u all can get 9.9km/l and above? i driving in city 80% and highway 20% only can get 9.0km/l. anything wrong? or need to setting? the ECO function is always ON. I always have reset the trip AtoB button when full tank.
Please advice tq!

your city driving involve a lot of traffic Jam? or short distance? if that the case fc will go down.

traffic light no many, 8km have 3 traffic lights only. always go and back from work only (around 8 - 10km per trip). Traffic jam always have when go and back from work.

new update: i just came from melaka to JB (highway), average is 9.2km/liter also
full tank RON95 around RM99, mileage is around 410km.

seem the 15.2km/l spec only valid with 100% highway driving with maybe 90km/h cruising speed and without air cond on.

Initially plan to trade in my year 2003 Alphard 2.4 to Serena for better FC. My old ride now still manage to hit 8km/L for 100% city ride and 12km/L for 100% high way ride with cruising speed 100-120kmh.

Jianwei , I hv been driving the car for 2 month n manage to hit 550 km for full tank. Averagely 12 km/l..70% highway n 30% city.  Of course, I turn on ECO mode all the while. BTW, pls ensure SPORT mode is not on. Pretty satisfied with its FC. ANORHER note, if u hv changed its tire size, FC will be HIGH too.

you can wait for toyota Previa spec almost same with serena

Don't expect superb lower petrol consumption from this Serena. Perhaps Mazda Biante with skyactive technology would have lower petrol consumption this Serena Hybrib. Waiting for forummers comment on Biante after it is brought into Malaysia which is very soon.

How come your full tank is only RM99.
Mine's averaged at RM108 per tank.
Clocking about 550km
getting 10.5-10.6km/l
Full city drive....Penang where got highway......

It's always a marketing tagline.
but I'm still able to get 13.9km/l Penang to KL cruising at 100-120km/h
Plus city drive in KL.
Air cond on all the time.
