FINALLY, received the car liao!!!

My wife test and driven home the car after tinting done, she has given a big  both my kids love it so much.

The ride is smooth and quiet (yet to test on highway) and no regret.

Today will be coating work and it will be perfect by the end of the day.....

Anybody know why this car road tax cost RM458, my innova with the same capacity also cost RM379. Hybrid car not suppose to be cheaper ?

traffic light no many, 8km have 3 traffic lights only. always go and back from work only (around 8 - 10km per trip). Traffic jam always have when go and back from work.

how come u all can get 9.9km/l?

new update: i just came from melaka to JB (highway), average is 9.2km/liter also
full tank RON95 around RM99, mileage is around 410km.

seem the 15.2km/l spec only valid with 100% highway driving with maybe 90km/h cruising speed and without air cond on.

Initially plan to trade in my year 2003 Alphard 2.4 to Serena for better FC. My old ride now still manage to hit 8km/L for 100% city ride and 12km/L for 100% high way ride with cruising speed 100-120kmh.

Don't expect superb lower petrol consumption from this Serena. Perhaps Mazda Biante with skyactive technology would have lower petrol consumption this Serena Hybrib. Waiting for forummers comment on Biante after it is brought into Malaysia which is very soon.

Toyota also launch Previa aka Estima. RM 270K, using previous gen Camry engine with 4 speed auto gear box. also using torsion bar for rear suspension. what do u say to that?

got my car last week, still learning the angle of driving a big car? lol coming from an old smaller car, driving in tight corner is a challenge and also side parking

a few questions... is that, the day after collect my car, I noticed that the mileage is around 200++ km shouldn't this be zero? I remember the SA told me that he has to get the car for me from Sungai Petani to Penang... I suspect they gave me a test drive unit...

another questions...that's about the rims... I was told not to change the rims because it is made in Japan and better quality, is there such a thing? tempted to change to a better looking 17" rim and quite worry about voiding the warranty and will it also affect the ABS and other safety features? thanks alot for listening... new user asking lots of questions...

overall I am satisfied with the performance... first try going up hill today, ... I tried the paya terubong hill road to bayan lepas and it was quite smooth, but I was alone driving...

May i know in what conditions we should using the stability control. My salesman told me only turn it on during raining day. For normal road dry condition don't used and ask me turn it off. Izzit? I thought we should turn it on all the time regardless what is the road conditions.


Another things is the stability control button how I know it off or on? Izzit the dashboard showing the stability control icon is off?

anyone facing intermittent auto idle off function not working...

happened twice.. once was one whole day and night... s-hybrid not lit up.. the green auto light not lit up as well.... the next day everything ok...

yesterday also the same... i off the engine and switch back on, its back to normal.
