Quick question. A friend got his Serena recently.. when he idles in a jam.. the aircond isn't cold.. is this common for Serena ?

When your car stop, the engine is is on idle stop. So your air condition compressor is not running. You will not get cold air. If you want your air conditioning to be cool You must let your engine run to power the air condition compressor.

This is common for hybrid or semi-hybrid vehicle. The power for air-con gets rerouted to the battery during the idle wait time.

Anyone did comparison of tyres which is suitable for Serena? Wanted to change to 205/60 but haven't start researching.

Would really appreciate if you can share from your experience.

Hi, i get my new hybrid highway star serena on May 2017. Many owner mention 195/60/16 is very difficult to get in malaysia market.

just to check, if i wan to change the tyre + RIM, what size is recommended ? preferable 17 inch since 18 is too big ???

how much it will cost ?? and safety is must because it is use for family car.

if i maintain 16 inch RIM size, the 195/60/xx can change to other size, any option ? any drawback ?

*** the stock sport 16 inch RIM can sell ?

The provided Bridgestone Ecopia tyres for Serena Hybrid is a special size only available to Serena Hybrid. Hence the availability can be a problem. I had the same situation and the tyre shop recommended me to take a slightly bigger tyres.

Just saw in Paultan, Tan Chong is testing out the new Serena 2017/2018 model.

im planning to get the new nissan c27 but after trading in my cars, i may not have enough to cover for the dp. Hence i am thinking of getting C26 impul version.

Both impul versions will have 13k discount at the moment. which is considerably alot and can cover the DP.

I am in love with the new look of c27. i might just go for the medium spec but have to figure out how to cover the dp.

Based on your c26, is it worth going for the c27 or impul c26? or is it better to go for the premium c26 version with 13k discount?

sent to service 30k check battery ok...then just few days auto light blinking
sent to SC suddenly they say battery bad,ok changed done....then idling stop never function again(no light) go back to SC on same day after few hours check they say need 1-2 days for the function to be back again....wtf then why took u soo long?

previously wiper jet pump suddenly kong under warranty
-tyre knocking sound
-exhaust grinding sound during hot day

No probs with cvt so far right? Family bought the latest senera but opt out of 5 years warranty.

Serena c26, the 2nd row got sound when turning and seated. Already fixed many times by sc but the sound return after awhile. Anyone can recommend the sc in klang Valley who can fix this issue? Thanks
