Hi jianwei87,

May I know is the VOIP is not working after the Internet setup or before this can use but suddenly cannot use?

And may I know what is you firmware version?

Thank you

A lot of users have sudden issues with VOIP recently. I wonder if Maxis updated the way VOIP is handled on the Thomson router.

Hi invisiblelim,

May I know is all the WiFi device also having this problem?

Since you have updated the firmware to the latest already, can you try do a factory reset on the router and try again?

You can also try fix a WiFi channel for the WiFi and see will it become stable.

Thank you

Yes it does support Unifi and HyppTV too, but I would suggest switching to a dual band router, ideally the RT-AC1300UHP, as your model is a very old model and it’s firmware have not been updated since 2015.

I been trying to configure the Unifi using this device but with no success.
This device doesn't have ISP profile configuration as i notice.

Yes. If it doesn’t, just tag VLAN manually. VLAN 500 for Internet and VLAN 600 for HyppTV.

Thanks man,
I managed to setup the device for Unifi.
Turn out, need to update with the latest (2015) firmware and the ISP profile connection is there

Definitely can, and any decent router is better than the TM stock router.

Hi Alex9182,

You can have a look at the image below, if the NAT Acceleration is enabled, some of the feature such as QoS may bot work properly.

Thank you

Tqvm for the information, i got below 2 questions, please help: -

1) if i turn off NAT Acceleration on RT-AC1300UHP, Unifi connection can still work 100%?, (i remember turning off NAT Boost on TM stock router, the internet connection not working properly).

2) if above is ok, can i turn off NAT Acceleration in order to have 100% functional QoS and guest bandwidth control?

Hi Alex9182,

By default it will be in "Auto" mode. It will be switch to "Disabled" automatically when any of the features are enabled.

So far didn't receive any feedback on any problem in Internet connection when the NAT Acceleration are disabled.

This apply to all our routers.

Thank you

NAT Acceleration is only required if your internet connection is more than 300Mbps.

good 2 know.

A question... Default, qos not activated... Is there some auto pecking order what gets priority?

So far, I hv no problem unless incoming has a problem. Seems it is intelligent enough 2 provide good online streams first while torrents is last, n i like that.

Rtac1300uhp 100mbps user.

Maxis uses VLAN 621 for Internet, and IPTV is VLAN 823. For IPTV, it might take some time for it to come up, but it will come up eventually. See these two links for a rough guide:

1) https://community.linksys.com/t5/Wireless-R...CS/td-p/1208266

2) http://www.msblog.org/2015/02/07/configure...router-openwrt/

Hope that helps bro.
