Hi optimisez,

Can you help provide me the setting file too? Because from the log, the Transfer mode is VDSL, for Streamyx it should be ADSL.

Thank you

Hi ASUSmy. Here's the setting file.

UNIFI just upgraded mine from 50 to 100Mbps, and I am still using my ASUS RT-AC66U router.

I consistently get Download 101Mbps and Upload 52Mbps.

Hi optimisez,

Thank you.

After checked the setting, can you go to the DSL Setting and set DSL Modulation to fixed ADSL2+ then apply(see whether xDSL could be synced, if so please provide DSL Log screenshot).

If it can be sync, then go to the WAN to configure the Streamyx setting again.

Thank you

Hi All,

HQ has started to update the firmware for the KRACK related vulnerabilities.

BRT-AC828
https://www.asus.com/us/Business-Networking...pDesk_Download/

Do visit our website time to time for more updates.

https://www.asus.com/Networking/

There are no update for the xDSL models as they are not effected by KRACK.

Thank you

Hi ASUSmy, any plan to include DSL-N12HP as supported router in the Asus Router Android app ? Both DSL-N12E and DSL-N12U already supported, so I'm hoping DSL-N12HP can make it to the list too. Thanks !

Hi stormaker,

The ASUS Router app unable to use on the DSL-N12HP, as the DSL-N12HP used different type of firmware.

Thank you

Hi ASUSmy, I'm having issue with my RT-N12 HP B1. The router is only 3 months old.

Every time I turn off the router it will reset back to default and lost all configuration. May I know if this is firmware or hardware issue?

Kindly advise. Thanks.

Hi gmail,

Can you try updating the firmware to the latest, do a factory reset and try again?

Hi soongjoo1984,

You can try do a factory reset buy pressing the reset button or by turning off the router, press WPS button and turn on the router again while keep pressing the WPS button.

Press until the power LED light blink fast and then release.

You can click on the link below and follow the step to do the firmware restoration.

Tried the method. Did not work. The computer Ethernet remain unplugged after I connect to LAN of router.

Power light remain off.
Can’t do restoration since the utility tools can’t even detect the router.

Hi soongjoo1984,

If the method provided still unable to solve the problem then it most probably is the hardware problem already.

Thank you

Should not be more than 5 devices connected to it at the same time (LAN + WiFi). I place it at the 1st floor of my house.
