Hi sEabrEEzE,

May I know where do you saw the icon on Window 10 and in what OS that you unable to see icon.

Thank you

I am using Windows 10 and I can see my RT-AC55UHP in This PC -> Network locations. I can make a shortcut to the RT-AC55UHP on the desktop and it will have the RT-AC55UHP icon. I need the RT-AC55UHP icon because I have my own third party quick launcher for programs and shortcuts to drives and folders. But I cannot find the RT-AC55UHP .ico file in my pc.

That's probably a Windows default icon.. Why so particular? Just screenshot & crop the image, save as icon & use away.. Alternatively surely, using Google images isn't too difficult.. Tons of router icons and images out there.. Take your pick..

Hi ASUSmy,
I used ipad to click MAC clone button, sill the same problem, all LED on, shown connected but no access to internet.
I first replaced TM router with TP-Link, then upgraded to ASUS-RT-N56U. After 2+ year, broken down, wifi always disconnected and need restart. I send back for repair. After couple months, I get this ASUS-RT-AC55UHP.
Please help me to work out the solution, as i still expect ASUS router can give good performance better than the 5 years old, first unifi replacement TP-Link router.

Thanks.

Hi ASUSmy,
Glad to see you back. Any solution for my RT-AC55UHP?
Could it be hardware defect? need to send back for repair?

Thanks.

Hi ASUSmy,
I have few questions here,
the RT-AC1200 with 4 external antenna available officially in Malaysia market?
is the RT-AC1200HP is the revised version of RT-AC1200HP?
RT-AC55UHP worth the price for the features compared to RT-AC1200/RT-AC1200HP?

Mr.Asus, why are my questions always skipped?

Hi euphoriaa,

Sorry for the late reply.

1) Are we entitled to get a new router which can support the 50Mbps speed both by LAN & Wifi?
You will need to ask TM UNIFI personal regarding this.

2) If not, any recommendation on what router to use to fully utilize the speed?
Router with WiFi transfer rate 450Mbps and above should be able to utilize the speed, this will need to include your WiFi adapter also.

RT-AC3200
RT-AC87U
RT-AC68U
RT-AC66U
RT-AC55UHP(5GHz)
RT-N18U

Thank you

Hi yh28,

RT-AC1200 are not available in Malaysia, we only bring in RT-AC1200HP.

Features are almost the same between RT-AC55UHP and RT-AC1200HP, the main different is the CPU, RAM and the design.

Thank you

U can opt for either the following:

1. Asus RT-N12 D1 (It should be about RM170)

2. Asus RT-N14 UHP (It should be about RM350 or below, can't remember exact price)

I'm on 30MB Unifi and am using the ASUS RT-N12 D1. Very easy to configure. No problems faced so far and am very satisfied with the router. Really value for money.

Do get the RT-N14 UHP, if your home is a big bungalow, etc....as the WiFi signal range is strong due to its 9db gain antennas.

Hello, can someone explain the main differences between the 3 models below? Apart from the pricing of course...

RT-N14UHP
RT-N12HP
RT-AC55UHP

I will be using it for Unifi 5MB package (thinking of upgrading soon) and must work with Hypptv.

Hi ASUSmy,
It happen that my hypptv has got problem, I asked the unifi techinisian to come to check. Then he did help me to setup the rt-Ac55uhp. Yes he did it, without problem. But my hypp tv problem still unsolved.
Check with u guys, the error message "Failed to synchronised time. The tstv feature may be unavailable" what is the problem ? I m using those 5 years old type to top. There is a LeD display in front. If connected successful, showing the time. Now always show 00:00 and the error message above.
Thanks all.
