You can do ping 8.8.8.8 -t and it will keep continue , for stop you can use Ctrl+C.
Can see that your latency is not stable.

You need to check the Internet Gateway latency and see how it react.

Thanks for the info, long time didn't followup the UniFi Plan. biggrin.gif

Dear Asus Support

Where can I download the RT-AC55UHP router icon (for windows OS)?
Windows 10 can display the RT-AC55UHP router icon but I can't find the .ico file
on my local drive.

Hi Asus Support Team,

I got this Unifi 30 mbps with HyppTV. I am looking to extend the wifi range.
I have read good reviews on Asus RT-N14UHP.

I believe it would be good enough to extend the wifi range and signal.
Does this model works well with HyppTV?

Will this meet my home wifi and TV needs?

Kindly advise, please?

Go for it. It works. No problem for HyppTV. But do remember, N14UHP is at its peak performance already for Unifi 30Mbps. Will not be enough if you plan to ugrade to 50Mbps.

Hi,

I have recently upgraded to TM VIP 50Mbps (50dl, 20up) package and was told the stock TM router does not support unifi up till that speed. Only by cable. My questions:

1) Are we entitled to get a new router which can support the 50Mbps speed both by LAN & Wifi?

2) If not, any recommendation on what router to use to fully utilize the speed?

Thanks.

Hello , one of my LAN ports of RT-N14UHP doesn't work even i have changed the cable and switch with other LAN ports, may i know what is the possible cause of this? Should i send to any service center?
*
Hi liangshu17,

May I know which LAN port is not working? For UNIFI Home profile, LAN port 4 will reserved for HyppTV.

If you didn't use HyppTV, you can choose UNIFI business as the ISP profile, and you will be able to use the LAN port normally.

Thank you

Thanks! Will try to do that later once Im back home.
Yeap, I have tried to do that several times, including using the beta firmware, but the problem keep coming back.. I suspect it was the capasitor problem. Is it possible to send for repair, and how much it will cost? Yeap, the warranty already expired two years ago.

Hi vivre,

Sorry we didn't do any repairing on ASUS router(beside firmware), if we found out the router really got and cannot be fix with firmware then we will be replacing the router with a new one.

Thank you

Hi. I've recently purchased the rt-ac1200 hp for my unifi 30 home. After setting up everything, it seemed to be working. The Internet status shows its connected but all my devices are unable to connect to the Internet. Laptops show that the connection is limited.
*
Hi Hao+,

Is your others device connected to the router able to surf Internet? On the router GUI, you can go to Network Tools->Network Analysis->Click Diagnose.

It will ping Google, and the result will be shown below.

Thank you

previous ASUS router didnt manage to connect to my maxis, now changed it for N18U

initially kept getting detecting internet connection time out, but somehow magically worked after awhile.

then restarted router, same problem again now i cant connect
zzzzzz getting tired of this shitty brand

EDIT: after multiple restarts, it worked again. might as well use the stock router if this is so unstable
*
Hi Szzz,

May I ask what is your current firmware version? Can you update it to the latest?

The current latest firmware version is 3.0.0.4.378.9545.

http://www.asus.com/Networking/RTN18U/HelpDesk_Download/

Do a factory reset after the update.

Thank you

Hi han99,

RT-AC55UHP don't have Adaptive QoS function, it only has Traditional QoS and Bandwidth Limiter.

Hello is Asus RT-AC87U only compatible / works perfect with EA-AC87 or other Asus RT-AC55UHP ?
*
Hi Michael_Lee,

If you plan to use the Media Bridge mode, normally we will recommend use back the router with same WiFi speed.

Example
RT-AC87U + EA-AC87
With 5GHz, you will be connecting 1734Mbps with 1734Mbps WiFi speed, which mean you have fully utilize the WiFi speed.

Thank you

Hi ASUS,

Need your advice here.

My Unifi package is 30mbps / 5 mbps.

I'm able to achieve 30 mbps via LAN however my wifi is constantly stuck at 20mbps. I've bought an ASUS RT-AC55UHP router and once I set it up my wifi speed went above 30mpbs.

After a couple of hours using it, my wifi is again limited to 20mbps. Called Unifi and told them about this and they said change the router!! Told them i've spend a few hundred bucks changing it already and it's stuck at 20 mbps again. They said can't be help as it's wifi but I know for a fact that it can go higher than that as my speed earlier via WIFI was 30 mbps when I first installed it.

Are there any setting I should be doing on the router to improve my wifi speed?

Does anyone know how to bump up my wifi speed?

Thanks for your advice guys.

Hi ongw,

You can try changing the WiFi channel at Wireless->General->Control Channel to 1, 6, 11 or any that is less people use.

Thank you
