QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jul 4 2015, 06:41 PM) You use N12 wor, no need extra cooling liao. need la...i rare off my modem and router..summore surrounding no wind at all unless someone at home la..No need. But why do you want to restart the UniFi BTU (modem)? Just leave it as it is. I never restart my BTU ever since the first day I use UniFi & that's like 4 ~ 5 years ago. The only time the BTU is switched off is when I leave my house for more than 2 days, blackouts or when the BTU itself is faulty & in need of replacement (happened once). InSplre thx |

QUOTE(Lineage @ Jul 12 2015, 04:15 PM) You mean its better to change the Wireless Mode to "N only"? he mean channel..Noted. Will go back and try to check wireless channel surrounding me, and set a fixed channel. Besides that, any other setting can improve the wireless signal? I did change the Beacon Internal to lower instead of default 100, but still no improvement. |

QUOTE(ejat666 @ Sep 2 2015, 10:30 PM) Hi AsusMY, u bought wrong wan bro..Would like to seek your advice. I bought Asus DSL-AC68U AC1900 router yesterday to replace my unifi dlink dir-615 stock router. Somehow i just notice that there is no dedicated WAN port since the router is 2 in 1 WAN/LAN My question is which router port should i plug the LAN (1-4) if im using port 1 modem? Encounter error "pls check your dsl/wan" I cant get it to work since this evening. Really need your advice thanks. u bought dsl mean for steamyx not for unifi tht why no WAN port only DSL port |

QUOTE(dreamthief @ Mar 10 2016, 04:52 PM) That's too huge. You will need repeaters, home line plug (not sure what's the name now, to go through electric line for network connectivity). as for homeline plug..need check whether the house is single phase or double phase wiring..if double homeplug unable to connectYou can use this link for a product recommendation. http://event.asus.com/2012/nw/router_picker/index.aspx Use the link above. Should have given to you earlier also. Slipped my mind totally. |
