Any AC68U user not able to connect to Hypp TV after 18/12 firmware update?  rclxub.gif

Before update was fine, after update Hypp TV stuck at blank page...  sad.gif
Resetup using quick internet wizard with unifi home profile still same...  sweat.gif

Hi funnyface,

May I know what is your current firmware version? The latest one is Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.1031 dated 2015/12/11.

Try updating it to the latest and if still cannot, do a factory reset also.

Hi GreenSamurai,

If you unable to tighten the antenna, you can send back to the dealer for warranty claim.

Thank you
*
This is reverse. I can't loosen the antenna anymore because the port is loose.

It doesn't solve the issue though that the golden connector is loose though as per my understanding I can claim warranty so I will do that.

My unifi has spiking issues when I'm gaming, I suspect its the distance and walls in between. The unifi router is at the front part downstairs floor of my house and my desktop is in the back part upstairs.

I found from https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3611812/all that RT-N12HP is the best for range that is not too expensive.
I will be using QoS to see if I can fix the spiking issue too. My question is, is RT-N12HP dual band? I cant find that info online even on official site.

Nope, its not..

Dual Band normally will contain "AC" word.

like Asus RT-AC55UHP.

Hi ASUSmy,

I have existing DSL-N12U connected to streamyx and recently I purchased RT-AC66U for extended coverage to my wireless clients. How do I set ac66u as only router and n12u as DSL modem only? I intend to disable n12u router functions (to avoid double NAT) and DHCP activated only for ac66u. Please advise.

Hi I-Kurosaki,

You can change the modem router to modem by changing by going to the WAN->WAN Connection type to Bridge.

Then connect the RT-AC66U WAN port to the DSL-N12U LAN port.

Thank you

Hi AVFAN,

It seen like the new firmware has change the LED light to solid light.

Off: No 2.4GHz signal.
On: Wireless system is ready.
Flashing: Transmitting or receiving data via wireless connection.

Thank you
