Hi, I visited your service centre in Lowyat on 8th of March for my G75VW laptop issues.. Turns out, it was only my adapter that had problem, since it is still under warranty, they told me that they can exchange the adapter for me.. But it has already been almost 1 month now, and my calls to you helpline has been met with "Your request is pending" ....

First of all, what does "pending" mean?
Secondly, when can i get my replacement adapter?

Hi patienceGNR,

If it is still same after the factory reset, then it might be something worng with the router already.

Thank you

The router works fine now. Only that the setup page loads slow. Haha. Well, not really bothered about that for now. To claim warranty I'm not sure how long it'll take.

Hi - read through the thread but no sure if anyone has the setup I'm planning to build.

About to buy an Asus RT-AC68U, for use with Astro TIME IPTV.

First question, will the router work correctly with the TIME IPTV? I read a couple of responses saying MAXIS IPTV wasn't supported, but is it the same for TIME? I am also using their VoIP phone services. Anything I should know?

Second, I have recently bought a WD TV Live, and I have 2 external HDDs, one 3TB and one 1TB, which I plan to use for the TV series and movies that I download. Question here is, should the HDDs be hooked up to the router or the WD TV Live, especially if I want to use the router's torrent manager to download directly to the external drives?

Third, I currently have a macbook air, a Dell latitude, HP elitebook, 2 galaxy notes, a galaxy note 10.1 and a panasonic plasma P50ST50 connected to my home network. I am planning to add a gaming laptop (most likely Alienware) into the mix very soon. I live in a condo, and as you can expect, the 2.4GHz spectrum is saturated already with crappy Unifi routers. 2 part question:

a) Are there any recommended router settings? Should I just flash to DD-WRT the moment I get the router?
b) I'm planning to set up 2 separate SSIDs, 1 for all the home devices sharing everything, preferably with a non-broadcast SSID. 2nd as a 'guest' network with access only to the internet. Is there a better setup recommended or something I should know before I do this?

I'm already aware of the need for upgrading to the latest firmware as soon as I get the router. Anything else I should keep in mind before I set up the router? Thank you very much in advance!

I cant believe this. In this era of IT, you still need to go back to the physical shop for warranty claims. My router is bought from Lazada and I pray for all luck I can get.

Probably will be my last router from Asus, given this policy.

Hey ASUSmy

My router is now acting up for the WiFi. Keeps dropping connection and I do not want to send it for warranty, can I get a 1-1 exchange?

Edit : Now I can't even access 192.168.0.1. WiFi keeps going out of range. WTH

Hi patienceGNR,

Our networking device are 1 to 1 exchange, but still you will need to send in for warranty claim before they can replace a new one to you.

Thank you
