Does flashing to 3rd part firmware like DD-WRT void the router warranty?

Hi HMMaster,

You can refer to the link below for the list of supported printer.

http://event.asus.com/2009/networks/printersupport/

Thank you

Thanks. It seems the number of printers/mfp supported is rather limited.

Hi rahmadfaisal,

For networking device, you will need to send back to place you bought for warranty claim.

Thank you

Try forcing 40mhz rather than using auto.

Hi Anonymous34,

May I know is your TM UNIFI is using dynamic or static IP? If dynamic then it may not work as TM UNIFI not yet implemented it yet.

Thank you

Hi All,

I'm having RT-N16 router with Unifi. I have the router link to my Synology NAS and also to a Dlink Gigabit switch.

Recently I noticed the speed showing on the dlink switch and NAS only 100Mbps. I had updated the router to latest version, ie. 3.0.0.4.374_4422.

Anyone had the same issue like mine after upgrade? Should I send for warranty claim?

I get error msgs like "connection timeout" "unable to join network" and i always have to manually connect on my iPhone or mac. If im not using the comp my wifi will be disconnected. Its damn irritating.
I've already upgraded to the newest firmware supplied by Asus on the website. But still having the same problem. Please help me out here. TQ

haha, we are lucky in malaysia we don't have so many wifi hotspots around us, so we can force 40mhz. Places like US almost always cant lol.

Btw, can you try transferring something from your pc or nas or laptop or whatever to your galaxy note 8? wanna know the transfer speed how many mBps smile.gif thx!

Have to praise Asus for making exceptional quality routers!
And it's cheap!
Here's a few screenshots of it! Uptime more than 11 days, 13 clients at the same time not crashing like the ASS DIR-615

Dear ASUSmy, after a month solving the wifi auto disconnect issue, now has return, but this time it wasn't cause by my pc's software anymore.

The wifi is like suka suka DC, mind that the wired connection is always fine. RT-N12HP is the model I purchase. I usually use wired for my main PC, but recently the damn haze so heavy, I moved my PC to my room. Now I'm using wifi connectivity. The case always happen during early morning, and after I come back from work where I I didn't use the internet after some time. Is like when I idle no use the internet too long, it auto disconnect.

I already try the inssider and use the channel that the most less used on my area between 1,6,and 11. Is there any solution? Please forward this issue to your QC dept. Since LamOfGod here also kena, I don't think the problem just apply to me.

Yep. Chose this because of the range.
Don't care about Wireless A/C because I don't even fully utilize the bandwith.

range is important for me
the router given by TM totally can't pakai, my router sure put near to TV which at parlor (middle of the house)
while my computer put at last room of my house (longest distance with the router)
always get 2-4 bar, and sometimes suka suka then disconnect, force to change its stupid wireless channel doh.gif

Hi how do I configure my Asus RT-AC66U for VOIP? I am using Maxis Home Fibre.

I noticed whenever I select 'Maxis-Fiber' in my router it sets my LAN3 to VOIP. How do I utilize that? Right now my VOIP phone is still connected to the Thompson and I really like to totally remove it. I want my setup to be as simple as possible.
