I just got the RT-AC68U. Quite awesome just that 1 thing is that the CPU temp is 95C which is quite hot. Is it normal?

Hi xXAaronXx,

Doesn't seen normal, try update the firmware to the latest and do a factory reset and try again.

My ac68u is usually at 82-85 degree, but due to the hot weather these past few weeks its at 88-90. Merlin says its nothing to worry about though. You can put a tiny fan behind it to reduce the temp to around 60 degrees.

I am using the same model, and just did 4 tests, all averaging out at 10 mbps both ways. i tested at speedtest1.unifi.my and speedtest2.unifi.my, wirelessly via my laptop

have you tried connecting the laptop straight via LAN cable (turn off the wireless on the laptop)and check if the results are still the same? if they are still are, most likely an issue at Unifi connection. if it isn't check your wireless settings. and have you updated to the latest firmware?

Hi xHj09,

Try have a check on the firmware and update it if it is not the latest as our networking device warranty are one to one replacement, I am afraid the new one may not be the newest firmware.

Thank you
