No... as long it's a quality one, it will be fine...
I have a rig with a Haswell i5 (i5-4440), with a Seasonic S12II PSU. According to Seasonic, the S12II doesn't support Haswell CPUs... tongue.gif

That PSU used to be one of the PSUs people recommend here but..not anymore..wanna know why?It uses CapXon caps.A 80+ Gold,Modular 600W PSU with CapXon caps..i wonder what were SuperFlower doing.. sweat.gif

I can't find a deep review on CM Thunder PSUs..it was made by Enhance,so i guess it's okay..Better go for the reliable one such like Antec VP-550P smile.gif

Not cheating, but apparently Super Flower really needs a better marketing department... There are several variants of their PSUs, and they should be blamed for not naming their PSUs nicely. sweat.gif
