Maybe want to save cost? And 80+ Gold certification might be a good marketing gimmick.

It's rather ambitious to expect a cheap price for that kind of quality. sweat.gif

I'm currently in the midst of building a rig with i5 processor, dual channel RAM and a GTX 760/R9 270 graphic card. I was thinking of Corsair VS650, or is VS550 suffice ? No intention of SLI or CrossFire near future, but maybe running 2-3 monitors later on.

VS550 is enough since GTX 760 didn't use much power, although I'm a little bit skeptical of its build quality ( take my words as a grain of salt ).

What do you mean by 'its build quality' ? You mean the GTX 760 build quality ?

Sorry, I meant VS550. My previous post is ambiguous. sweat.gif
