May I know the procedure to claim the warranty and its overall estimated duration? Last I heard you are planning to do the repairing locally instead of sending back to oversea for the procedure?

Its is extremely vital for you to solidified that aspect as that is the sole aspect that separating the buyer between Sager with Alienware.

Hi mr docter,

Please don't mix up our products with sager. Although sager and illegear are literally the same in terms of build, quality and even from the same manufacturer, illegear laptop is assembled for Malaysia distribution.

We, as a Malaysia distributor, all warranty repairs are served locally. Please visit http://www.illegear.com/warranty for our warranty info. and repair time frame.

Thanks for the clarification man notworthy.gif
The repair time frame, if adhered to, is very impressive thumbup.gif

May I know where are the service centers bro? Sorry if I've missed out in the link notworthy.gif

Hi pf tj,

ATM we only offer onsite repair within Singapore and Johor region, the rest of Malaysian regions' customer need to send their laptop back to reseller's shop where they purchase from, or our office located at Johor via mail-in or carry-in method. ILLEGEAR will pay for return shipping to customers' address.

Yes the repair term is very accurate, unlike any other vendor's distributor, we do keep lot of spare parts sitting around in our warehouse. Rather than passing your laptop to be fixed by 3rd party service center and ends up like 1 month plus of waiting time(due to part ordered from oversea), all illegear laptops are repaired by our own personnel, using local spare parts.

We do also have one-to-one exchange policy with both way shipping coverage for laptop fails within 14 days of purchasing.
http://www.illegear.com/exchange

Per our sager experience, this kind of laptop fails after 14 days is less than 1% probability.

This is very good news indeed. You should make another branch @ Penang to cover Northern Regions too! laugh.gif

not that i need a new laptop, but it's always good to know what's around and more options... laugh.gif

Hi astria,

Yes of course we would like to bring in AMD laptops if we have the chance.

By the way, the GX60's 7970M is bottlenecked by the A10 4600M heavily, you can google for more information. (Sorry for out of the topic)

yeah i am aware of that... but choices are always good...

maybe sth more mainstream should u opt for AMD... the integrated graphic is plentiful enuf at resolutions like 1366x768

All repairs are done by ILLEGEAR's staff using genuine parts. Note that there is no third party service provider involving in the repairing procedure at the moment. We believe that nobody knows our products better than ourselves, that's why all ILLEGEAR repairs can be done promptly and effectively.

Yes you are right, the RX-17's Dual 7970M CrossFireX config can perform similar to desktop GTX 680 as per 3D Mark 11.

As I said, users can choose to send the laptop to the authorized reseller's shop or our head office at Johor via mail-in or carry-in method, please refer to the post previously.

Yeah, I've read that, which is why I suggested it will be nice to have a service center (not just resellers) in KL/PJ as well in the future smile.gif
Mailing to Johor will inevitably take time, thus increasing the repair time, even though you guys repair fast hmm.gif

How long does it take to ship a laptop both way within Malaysia?

As opposed to the other well known brands' vendor who have dedicated 3rd party service center in lowyat, how long does it take to have a laptop fixed in average?

We have sold over 1000 Sager laptops in last year, and I believe half of them are from this forum. No offence to anyone, but even our previous Sager repair which sent over U.S. are much much faster than average repair time frame of service center in Malaysia, it's 2 to 4 weeks to have a sager fixed generally (serious problem).

Lastly, I am just clarifying that there is nothing to do with the "center", but the service quality. No offence to anyone smile.gif

As mentioned, users can return the product to our authorized reseller's shop where they purchased from. I don't see any mailing needs to be done on user's end.
How we are gonna fix the laptop is the matter between we and the authorized reseller. As long as we can deliver the repaired product promptly, customers are happy, resellers won't headache.

Other service providers in your area do import parts to repair laptops, isn't this incurred a mailing? From oversea somemore. Imagine that you purchased a laptop with 1 year warranty and ends up fixing the laptop with 2 month plus, I think most of us will be unhappy.

Thanks for the input~

I was just wondering whether the resellers will send the entire notebook back to Johor/Singapore for repairs; or whether they will bring in parts from the service centres at Johor/Singapore and repair themselves. The idea of posting a notebook just seemed pretty risky to me (after seeing how most of the post ppl deal with those boxes haha)..
But then you are right, its none of my business anyways haha, as long as the repair time is fast, customers will be happy~ and I trust you guys will carry out your tasks professionally as always icon_rolleyes.gif

It's not risky.

If it is risky, we would have many complains on lowyat.net.
99% of our previous Sager sales are delivered via Airpak Express or DHL, without any problem.

basically it's the RMA model in countries like US, where user need to mail the laptop back to the service center...

it's good to have somewhere to drop off instead and a professional handling the mailing... they know how to package the stuff so as not to break it further... laugh.gif

Those prices are Standard Retail Price.

If we have promotional discount, the prices will be lower than the SRP.

Just want to share my experience with illgear. I've bought a illgear RS-15 with some customization. In term of discount..I think I do get a lot..got a rm300 rebate, upgrade from 750GB to 1TB, upgrade on processor (from 17-3610 to i7-3720).

At the beginning I also worried about sending up the laptop via courier. So pick it up myself at Johor. They are pretty considerate since they wait me up until around 11pm or so.

After a while my laptop got a problem. I forward my problem to the illgear support team and trust me their respond is fast. So I sent it out to them in Johor via courier. It took them around 1 week or so to repair it since it is a major problem. They change my motherboard and graphic card and I still got a valid warranty. They sent out my laptop via airpak courier in box full of padding.

All in all I do like their service. They are willing to explain everything and their respond is also fast (In my experience, if I compare to some shops, it would take them about a month or so to repair problems even simple problem like windows problem.yes..maybe they got a lot of laptop/computers to fix and that is where illgear is at advantage. They concentrate at their product so minimize time.)

If you are looking at customization laptop I would suggest Illgear compare to shops for sure.

p/s: i'm not paid by illgear to say all this I'm one of their valid customer.

good to hear ppl sharing their experience. I am the type of person that dont care about the look or specs of the laptop but definitely sees that the service very important.

I myself been buying Dell stuff for ages becoz i just dont want the hassle to go to the service center myself. I dont mind paying RM200-300 just to extend my warranty as long as such service exist.

For case like those Asus and Acer warranty claiming issue taking ages, i wont even think of buying their laptop at all. So keep up your service. I may eventually purchase frm u.

Anyway do any of your laptop has HDMI input like the Alienware M17X?

Hi Sir,

Glad that you like our service. At that moment we also had many laptop orders but we put your repair on the first priority, that's why we can fix your laptop's motherboard and GPU within 5 working days.

Anyway do any of your laptop has HDMI input like the Alienware M17X?

No we don't have any model featured with HDMI-in, only HDMI-out, but is that necessary?

Yeah, seems like a lot of AW users jumped ship to Sager notebooks too haha~
Probably because of the cheaper price and also easier accessibility hmm.gif

No comment on this.

But we actually found that a lot of professionals need plain and simple laptops, while the younger generation prefer something fancy.

Anyway Prince J, just wondering... since you have already introduced the Illegear models, wouldn't that compete with the Sager models you were originally selling? hmm.gif

I thought you are 20+ only, no? biggrin.gif

There is no competition, ours are apparently better, in terms of pricing, quality, and warranty.

Let me explain in details, e.g.

1. we use Kingston RAM (lifetime warranty) and Western Digital hdd (5 year warranty). Which means that you are still covered by local HDD warranty even if your illegear warranty has expired.
Sager is using Patriot/ Samsung RAM, Seagate HDD, which doesn't come with any local warranty. Even so, illegear is still helping customers to claim warranty from Sager, but taken longer time frame (2 to 4 weeks).

2. Every ILLEGEAR machine is tested in manufacturer's factory, and tested again by our engineers using 48 hour burn-in test. The failure rate is the least in this industry.

3. Effective services. Take one example, we can go the customer's house (Johor and Singapore) to do repair.

Second this laugh.gif I always think the gaming laptop that I will feel most comfortable bringing into a corp world is the Asus G series. Hell, with the rubbery / charcoal look, if I do a bit of disguise, maybe can pass it off as a Thinkpad laugh.gif

Yeah, 20+, not old? lol

Man you should tag this in your main post, this is good info laugh.gif
1. Although RAM seldom spoils, it is good to know that there is warranty coverage for the HDD by you guys (it is often very hard for users to send the HDD in ourselves), and possibly the SSD (if customized)?

3. You should come and stay in KL/PJ haha, many customers here would love to have your on-site service tongue.gif

Turn off the all the AW lights, and you get a "ThinkPad" yo tongue.gif , not many people know AW in the business world anyway laugh.gif
But its a different story when outside in public... having Sager/Illegear (even better if the logo is removed) would definitely attract much, much lesser attention.. very useful in Malaysia laugh.gif

Hi Amal,

We only sell 7970M and GTX680M to our existing customers. The reason is different models are using different GPU heatsink and thermal pad, it's very risky for simply swapping.

Plus the flexible upgradibility, the support will spread like viral among Malaysian around 1-2 years.

At the moment we are only able to cover the on-site service within Johor and Singapore areas, at a very reasonable price (will be updated soon).

Second this too. I prefer smaller laptop (preferably an 11.6 inch just like the Sager NP6110), good for frequent business traveller like me. If I ever need a bigger monitor, I can always plug in an external monitor. Hopefully the next year's refreshed line would come with backlit keyboard, good for typing in the dark especially late night with lights off.

I think Sager/Illegear is pretty good with its plain look, good for business users like me.

Keep up the good work and looking forward to the Haswell processor next year smile.gif

I would like to ask if R-11 is configured with i5-3210M CPU and SSD hard drive, what would be the estimated average battery life on both casual Internet surfing/Office usage and 3D gaming?

Hi Cloud77,

It can last for 6.5 hours with i5-3210M in optimus mode. Maximum 2 hours for 3D gaming.

Hope this clarify your doubt smile.gif

NP8130 upgrades are quite limited (i think max only allow you up to GTX670 and the following generations). only those with NP8150 or NP8170 have more options.

How come ? Isnt the build for NP8130 and NP8150 the same ? Except that when u purchase NP8150, u have the default 180w instead of 120w for the NP8130? All we need is to upgrade the PSU isnt it ? Maybe to a 220w if we r getting ATI7970 or a GTX680M ? smile.gif

after some searches, yes its possible. the PSU also needed to be upgraded. PSU unit is at least 180w for NP8130 and NP9150 (220w for NP8170)

I think it would be awesome if illegear could offer something like OriginPC's custom panel. smile.gif

Hello Prince J,

I have further inquiry regarding R-11.

In comparison of CPU i7-3610QM against i5-3210M, what is expected the battery life difference under Optimus mode for standard surfing/Office usage.

Many thanks for your feedback.

Actually the battery life difference during idle is not large.

They both have similar battery life and temps at idle, but the i7 will have higher temps and power consumption under load.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I'm wondering why there is no option to choose CPU i7-3612QM. This CPU has TDP 35W against i7-3610QM with TDP 45W. I think i7-3612QM will run longer battery life and possible cooler as well.

Hi

Thanks for sharing your idea.

It has been a hot topic since the first day NP6110 came out from factory.

Why did Sager choose i7-3610QM and i5-3210M? Because they can fit two different markets at different prices.

i7-3612QM is something in between, quad core and low power consumption. It seems to be the best choice among these three.

However, in term of gaming usage, it is not the case.

By choosing i5-3210M, I can enjoy higher clock speed at the same power consumption and lower price comparing to i7-3612QM.

By choosing i7-3610QM, I can enjoy higher clock speed at the same price and higher power consumption comparing to i7-3612QM.

Sager can perfectly serve two markets by offering these two processors.

If you want dual core, go for i5-3210M, if you want quad core, go for i7-3610QM.

Not bad for this rig, especially with the promotion. Kinda tempting... rclxms.gif

I notice you have addded the "remove logo" thing for illegear build. Nice plain looking Clevo.

It can last for 6.5 hours in optimus mode. Maximum 2 hours for 3D gaming.

No chance, there is no 11.6" FHD screen. By the way, don't you feel pain when using a 11.6" FHD screen lol.

Yes i7-3610QM has been phased out due to large amount of order during Christmas season. It's replaced by i7-3630QM at the same price.

In Illegear website, OCZ Vertex 4 is recommended over Crucial M4 at 128GB. Does OCZ a better SSD in terms of performance and reliability? After all, it is more expensive by RM100.

I think if illegear can come up with some video reviews like what xoticpc did, it would be great. Videos are much more expressive than pictures these days. Sometimes when I wanna show nice laptop to my friends, I normally give them videos from xoticpc or puget systems. If illegear has its own video, then everyone should know who to go for when they are looking for these laptops XD

Hello Prince J.

I have another question regarding R-11. Regarding "Professional Colour Calibration", is it some sort of software calibration (need to install some sort of software/driver) of which my purchase order must include OS as well?

Or is the calibration is not software/driver dependent and thus I can choose R-11 without OS?

Thanks for your always quick reply.

Will do, mate. But I won't be doing intensive gameplay review on the GT650M in illegear R-11 since I believe there are lots of gameplay review on this laptop in youtube (Clevo W110ER).

I believe people are more concern about the condition of the laptop delivered by illegear. Another thing people might be curious about is the size of the laptop. My company's laptop is an acer V3-471G (14 inch), so by that time, I can just take a picture to show the size difference. smile.gif

yes please. i would love to see because i plan to buy too before promo end. biggrin.gif

Added on December 31, 2012, 12:19 pmdo u provide warranty extension after months purchasing the laptop?

after let say 10 or 11 months i bought the laptop, and i decided to extend another 2 years?

because users like me, do not have the money to pay extension when buying laptop due to budget restriction, but maybe after several months, i have some extra money and decided to add the warranty.

@Cloud77
Replied your pm.

@Jimmy
Hope you can do a review for the public, a genuine and true review will be fine.

@fixgd
Our warranty extension will be available within 90 days of invoicing date, meaning you can only extend your warranty within 90 days of purchase.

Btw i don't see Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 in the selection of Wireless Network Card, just wonder why? Because i had read the description and there mention about this card.

Photos can just see on google. Anyways will try upload pic once i boro cam from fren tongue.gif
Package is smaller than expected, packed neatly just like what you see in Apple boxes. Everything placed neatly unlike how Sony packs things all just dump the cables inside.
Anyways cant do any graphic testing also besides unigine heaven. All my games left in desktop at other place. doh.gif

Yeah, I think illegear really needs some photos of its laptops laugh.gif
Advertised photos are usually very different from the actual units (because of all the editing and extra effects laugh.gif)

@Prince J, perhaps can add some in illegear's FB as well? hmm.gif

Met Prince J yesterday and received the illegear R-11.
There was a illegear box coming with it but I didn't want it because the box is big and it's for RS17/RX17. So, I only take the inner box which is the original packaging box from Clevo.

Tested battery and all the ports (except HDMI since I don't have a TV here), everything is working fine.

Will write a review either today or tomorrow smile.gif
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the size of the notebook

Your only show stopper (for me anyway) is the lack of Easy-Payment option with credit card... its not easy to fork out 4k at one shot for fresh grads. ><"

Your only show stopper (for me anyway) is the lack of Easy-Payment option with credit card... its not easy to fork out 4k at one shot for fresh grads. ><"
Please consider making Easy Payment available before the 15th of January, which is the end of your promo. tongue.gif

Installment plan will be offered soon smile.gif But definitely not before 15 Jan 2013
On a side note, why the posts do not combine automatically? hmm.gif

So...today our marketers grabbed some from the warehouse for photo shooting. (100% without edit)

Thanks Prince J for the confirmation.
I've decided to find other model since I'm in Kelantan and would be a hassle to send back to JB if there's a problem.

i think if u get other gaming series like asus, alienware, msi also if u send to centre in kelantan wont have stock, need to send to kl also.

just that u save the shipping money, but need to wait more.

Unfortunately, that's the sad case here for almost all computer brands sweat.gif
Acer is the only one which I can confirm has service centres here
for Samsung and Sony, I'm not sure their centres can repair computers or only other electronic items
however, I have higher % of going to KL than JB, that is why

Hi Chocobos,

Np thanks for the inquiry!
We can actually arrange pick up on your house if you have any problem with the courier delivery from Kelantan.

Hello, fellow forum member Nexus2238 pointed me out to your brand as I was looking for a high end gaming laptop. I was looking at either the Asus G75vw, Msi gt70 or the Alienware m17x. But he told me with my budget; 8k-10k (been saving a long time) I could probably get way better specs with a cheaper price with you. Could you suggest a really high end maxed out gaming laptop from your selections? Thanks.

Hi,

Here are a batch of screenshots from a fresh test.

3rd test today was with GPU'Z, showing max temps on the slave GPU.

The screenshot with no GPU-Z open was from an earlier test with ATI afterburner to monitor.

Thanks for the quick response, will probably ship it out via poslaju next Tuesday smile.gif

One last question I'd like to ask you and Clevo/Sager users in general, I know the 2nd GPU is supposed to be hotter than the main GPU, but 90+ celcius?

The scary thing is the temps continue to steadily rise. I'm sure if I left it on for a prolonged period of time it could actually reach 100c+. I have generally stopped any testing when it gets passed 95c, but atm the heat just keeps getting higher and higher, it never reaches a steady point where it stops.

Most probably RS-17 or RX-17.

I do not really looking forward to own dual-GPU for my next beast though, thinking of single-GPU only sweat.gif

Yes, something like that laugh.gif

Anyway, I would love to see the arranged structure below the back panel. I been following your shared pictures on Facebook but none regarding the internal arrangement of hardwares.

As I recall, Illegear arrangement should be much simpler than Alienware.

1. The maximum can go up to 4.5 hours. On gaming, probably 1 to 2 hours.

2. Startup & shut down time on Win 8's shorter, MS Office performs faster and some good features. Some of the users claimed Windows 8 has compatibility problem on gaming, but we believe it will be sorted out eventually. Let's expecting the new service pack smile.gif

Indeed. Only need to unscrew 4 screws.

The R-11 is even easier you can access to the internal part without any screwdriver/screw.

Price of the XM models are so stupidly high that it's no longer justifiable anymore since the lower end QMs basically deliver 90% of that performance for a much lower cost. laugh.gif

Better save that money for dual 512GB SSDs in RAID for moar powah if you ask me! laugh.gif

Price of the XM models are so stupidly high that it's no longer justifiable anymore since the lower end QMs basically deliver 90% of that performance for a much lower cost. laugh.gif

Better save that money for dual 512GB SSDs in RAID for moar powah if you ask me! laugh.gif

Impressive. drool.gif
The Illegear emblem certainly adds an aggresive style to it.
Is it actually a decal, or is it directly painted onto the lid?

Also, the 15" model is built on the Clevo P150EM barebone right?

Not a decal. We print the logo on to the lid and it's very durable.
Yes the RS-15 is built on P150EM.

RS-17 has got its new smaller and lighter adapter (2kg). It's even slimmer than current RS-15 adapter!

Side by side comparison. From left to right: RS-17's old adapter(3kg), RS-17's new adapter(2kg) and RS-15's adapter(2kg).

We only offer 11.6", 15.6" and 17.3" models during 2012 and first quarter of 2013. You will be seeing more and more 13.3" and 14" ILLEGEAR laptops coming in very near future.

How "near future" is this? biggrin.gif ... 11.6" too small, 15.6" too big for me, looking for a 13.3-14.0 inch. Are your screens IPS or TN panels and how are the viewing angles?

ILLEGEAR RS-15 review by New Straits Times. You can also find this review in today's New Straits Times Life & Times Tech page 4.

http://www.nst.com.my/opinion/columnist/la...achine-1.245362

"The RS-15 is definitely a beast of a machine. While one can argue that similar notebooks are available from the big boys, I cannot but feel a certain amount of affection of the RS-15.
It excels in its class as a high performance mobile gaming/studio and desktop placement. Who says you cannot have your cake and eat it?"

you can buy sager overseas and import to malaysia, but you have to consider the warranty coverage and shipping.

Even though it has warranty, it only covers within USA. Outside USA, you have to bear the shipping cost and repairs.

Received my RS-15 build yesterday. Very impressed with the build quality and the amount of raw power under the hood. I opted for i7-3730QM, GTX 680 4GB, 16GB RAM and purchased my own 512GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD in which they installed into the RS-15 for me. I'll be your repeat customer, you can be sure of that! rclxms.gif

just giving out some suggestion as i myself is researching + scouting for high end notebook.

i did a fully customization in sager website, specs is abit higher then what illeger can offer, total less then 2.3k USD

of cause warranty is another issue to be discuss about.

what i'm trying to point out is that, RS-15 starting price is RM 5299, but with i5 and a decent AMD Radeon HD 7970M GPU, the worse of all, no windows being offer part of the package.

1st time i was just like you. i was thinking about bringing back a NP9370 but after some thoughts, the importance of shipping fees need to be considered. also, what happens if the shipping procedure goes wrong? some more, can you trust our country's custom officers? so when there is a reseller in malaysia, you are lucky enough.

ps - illegear and sager are actually the same. the chassis is originally by Clevo, a taiwanese company.

i have relative living in states and they come back every now and then, shipping the notebook is not a issue.

warranty is something that causing major concern to consumer like us.

imagine a fully customize notebook with the price tag of MYR7k++ that doesn't even include any SSD configuration, that is pretty insane for someone to even fork out that much of money to buy the machine.

Sager prices are definitely not workable over here in Malaysia.

Sager NP9150 (P150EM) are sold more than thousand units per month in U.S. , it's a market with huge buying power.

It's just like you want to compare Alienware/MSI U.S. prices with Alienware/MSI MY prices. That being said no point of comparing the prices with other territories.

However, we are confident to say that our products and services are worth for the prices comparing to any other vendors in Malaysia market.

I'll be your repeat customer, you can be sure of that! rclxms.gif

You are right if you clean the heat sink and fan very frequently. You can easily access to the bottom part of the laptop for cleaning these parts.

they can last long if you take care of the laptop, no matter what brand you are.

the 2 option suggested is because i see most adults rarely play games. with that kind of price, they can get an affordable large sized laptop for entertainment mainly.

EDIT - Prince J, when will the new NP9570 released? or so called 'RZ-17'? biggrin.gif

Hi Prince,
I am thinking of getting an Asus G75 or RS-17 from Illegear. I have a few questions though.
1. For either computer, I will need to get an OS, either Win7 or Win8. Is the OS supplied OEM or retail (Can I transfer the license to another computer if the laptop died on me & I needed to buy a new one)? I understand that OEM license cannot be transferred to a new laptop.
2. I saw some Clevo/Sager reviews on a similar laptop to the RE-17 & they were talking about keyboard lag. In the event I face this problem, would this be covered by the warranty? I'm planning to use this laptop for work & gaming.
3. Both laptops are heavy, but can they stand up to being moved around on a daily basis? How durable are they? & no, I won't be using it as a basketball but I don't want a laptop that doesn't travel well. Weight isn't a problem.
4. The RE-17 looks really nice but the NVidia GC is a little pricey. Could I down grade to an cheaper NVidia GC & later upgrade?
Thanks,

Irzani

Hi,

1. OEM Windows cannot be transferred, but we can supply you retail version too.

2. RE-17 is built on W370ET and there is no ghosting issue on it.

3. ASUS G75VX is about 4.5kg, RS-17 is about 3.9kg and RE-17 is about 3.2kg. All of them have passed the drop test and they are very durable.

4. RE-17 cannot upgrade/downgrade its GC, if you mean RS-17 yes you can upgrade/downgrade your GC in future because it has MXM connector.

This is a similar model from Sager (NP9170). I'm not sure if this is the RS-17 equivalent.

http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clev...-wall-text.html

Please note that the review is not for an illegear notebook but a similar one from a different vendor which is using a Clevo barebone build.

Prince, what is the Clevo equivalent for the RE-17 & RS-17? I'd like to look them up at notebookcheck if possible.

Thanks

This is a similar model from Sager (NP9170). I'm not sure if this is the RS-17 equivalent.

http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clev...-wall-text.html

Please note that the review is not for an illegear notebook but a similar one from a different vendor which is using a Clevo barebone build.

Prince, what is the Clevo equivalent for the RE-17 & RS-17? I'd like to look them up at notebookcheck if possible.

Thanks
*
Our RS-17 doesn't have the ghosting issue as well.

RE-17 is built on W370ET and RS-17 is built on P170EM.

Hi,

Dear Illegear guys. Do you selling parts only? Like processor or graphic cards. Or upgrading service for that particular components. Those MXM graphic board and notebook processor are very hard to find locally. And expensive, too.

Hello,

I have several question about the RE17.

i. Is the keyboard has backlight & is it programmable?
ii. Did this laptop NVIDIA Optimus enabled & did it have a button to turn on & off Optimus?
iii. How long is the battery life while playing games, web surfing & doing normal ms office activity?
iv. How about the heat generated while playing heavy graphic games?

Thanks.

GTX780M is not found in any laptop yet smile.gif
Nvidia is doing its usual line-up refresh.
So far all the GT7xxM has been released. The GTX7xxM should be soon.
Nvidia will typically wait for AMD to release its high end, then unleash its beast just to beat AMD and charge us a bomb for it laugh.gif

I've a question: Will there ever be an option to upgrade the GPU's in the RE-15 or R-11 in the future?

Thanks

We are considering IPS panel. Yes you can downgrade GPU, just shoot me a PM with your budget and usage and I will reply with recommendations.

Not possible. R-11 and RE-15 gpu are soldered on board unlike RS and RX series.

Thanks for replying!

Will need a desktop replacement sooon (depending on where I end up). Was wondering if you guys are planning to launch any 13 inch lappies anytime soon?

R-11 looks like a beast, but then again, 11-inch might not serve me as a decent desktop replacement.

Same here, but I do personally think to purchase RX-17 with basic spec on the beginning instead of RS-17 due to maximum potential of upgradibility in future nod.gif

Why do you want to skip the current generation Haswell?

And Clevo is currently refreshing their line up, if I am not mistaken.

As for me, waiting for GTX 780M and Haswell to be released on a Clevo. Then I will buy Illegear

i saw the pictures of their new models. the W230ET, P157SM, P177SM and P375SM. this is the main reason for what im waiting for. also, i plan to skip current gen haswell because im waiting for GTA 5 PC, HD9970M and 14nm broadwell architecture.
