no doubt that Illegear provide highly customization notebook

but the price is kinda rip off in the sense that i5 starting at 5k++

i rather purchase Sager notebook, after fully customize with 480GB intel SSD, the price only 2.2k++ USD

Dear wengjoe,

Thank you for your suggestion.

Our RS-15 is starting with i5-3210M and 7970M at RM5299. The i7-3630QM upgrade is only priced at RM229.

just giving out some suggestion as i myself is researching + scouting for high end notebook.

i did a fully customization in sager website, specs is abit higher then what illeger can offer, total less then 2.3k USD

of cause warranty is another issue to be discuss about.

what i'm trying to point out is that, RS-15 starting price is RM 5299, but with i5 and a decent AMD Radeon HD 7970M GPU, the worse of all, no windows being offer part of the package.

1st time i was just like you. i was thinking about bringing back a NP9370 but after some thoughts, the importance of shipping fees need to be considered. also, what happens if the shipping procedure goes wrong? some more, can you trust our country's custom officers? so when there is a reseller in malaysia, you are lucky enough.

ps - illegear and sager are actually the same. the chassis is originally by Clevo, a taiwanese company.

i have relative living in states and they come back every now and then, shipping the notebook is not a issue.

warranty is something that causing major concern to consumer like us.

imagine a fully customize notebook with the price tag of MYR7k++ that doesn't even include any SSD configuration, that is pretty insane for someone to even fork out that much of money to buy the machine.
