We only offer 11.6", 15.6" and 17.3" models during 2012 and first quarter of 2013. You will be seeing more and more 13.3" and 14" ILLEGEAR laptops coming in very near future.

Will be waiting for the 13.3"! drool.gif

Hi Amal,

We only sell 7970M and GTX680M to our existing customers. The reason is different models are using different GPU heatsink and thermal pad, it's very risky for simply swapping.
*
Good to know that. Still better than nothing.
At least your customer can easily opt for an upgrade in the future.

Thanks.

It looks beautiful. Solid and compact. And the rubberized cover finish looks good in it.
Seems like a perfecg placement for your vaio s13 premium eh..? brows.gif
*
Probably. tongue.gif

What I love about my Vaio compare to the W230ST are the smooth touch pad, the weight(ligther and with a smaller compact adapter), switchable GPU, and the design.

What I like about the W230ST are the Quad Core CPU, 2x superb performance of the GPU, and the FullHD LCD.

I just love to have a lightweight laptop that can play games at a good eye candy settings whenever I wanted to, even though I rarely play games nowadays. tongue.gif

I'm waiting to see how good can the GTX 765M memory be OC.
This GPU is Heavily bottlenecked by the slow memory.
If this GPU memory can be OC to 1500MHz(from 1000MHz), it will surely fly! drool.gif

Maybe Illegear would consider carrying a Gigabyte Laptop too in the future? biggrin.gif

Illegear's 13.3 inch should be out soon, I guess.
Just need to find money, coz I've spent a lot on my car recently while waiting.. sad.gif

Looking good. Do a quick write up, especially on the CPU/GPU temps for usage in our Malaysian climates!

So how much did you ended up paying and what additional did you put in? How long did it take for you to get it?

Cheers!
*
Thanks. But i'm very very busy today.

I did manage to do a little test though yesterday.
3Dmark11 with cpu turbo boost :
max cpu - 93c
Max gpu - 72c

3Dmark11 with cpu turbo boost disabled :
Max cpu - 78c
Max gpu - 64c

Not much difference on the score.
Ambient around 26-28c.

Looks good. Yeah, 3D mark is more GPU intensive. Looks like Turbo Boost cooks things a little more. You disabled Turbo Boost by setting the max CPU to 99% in the power option?
*
Yup 99%, running at 2.4ghz on 4 cores.

Hi Amal,

Do a review?  biggrin.gif

By the way, note Amal opted for removing ILLEGEAR logo so there is no logo on the lid.
*
Didn't get a chance to thank Illegear for making this happened.
You guys are the best!

I'm very bad at doing a review. tongue.gif
Quite busy at the moment though.

Btw, from my previous post where I shared the temperature of CPU & GPU, was actually from my bad memory. lol.

Here are the actual test (ambient 26c-28c):

CPU Turbo boost enabled :

CPU Turbp boost disabled :

So, it is actually cooler than what I posted before.
Proly got mixed up with the MSI GE40 review. Hahah

I love the logo-less design  drool.gif
Temps look good for such a small notebnook~
*
Thanks bro!

Not that I don't like the Illegear finishing on the cover.
Just that I'm working in the IT industry, and don't want to attract too much on the laptop's brand. tongue.gif
Last time I used Sager, people keep on staring and asking this and that whenever I take out my laptop. sweat.gif

Yup, temp seems good.
I might disabled the turbo boost most of the time though. Love the temp with the turbo boost disabled. thumbup.gif

Popping up the backside gives better temp though.

temperature is quite okay for a small powerful lappy too

Yup. Was afraid of the temp of the GPU before this thing come out.
Turn out that the GPU temp is nothing to worry about compare to the CPU.

Any difference of performance with enabled and disabled of turbo boost?
*
Haven't fully tested it yet.
But I'm guessing it will be very minor, in terms of gaming(depending on which games).
