i have the money to buy a clevo but i plan to skip current generation. wait till after GTA 5 pc, new clevo lineup series, ATi HD9970M and 2nd gen haswell is released, i will move back into my gaming life.

Well, uhm... I'm not someone who's good for giving review but still able to give a little opinion of me having business with ILLEGEAR from before buying till after sales service.

Basically, the service itself SUPERB Prince J and his team help me a lot before buying and welcome my unlimited questions to them. To some point I found myself annoying but they are still willing to give response quick and efficient. That's what we customer actually looking for right? And from what I know from last time as compared to today, ILLEGEAR itself clearly shows that they are improvised their service for the customers. And their business is expanding so do their service to us too.

Just want to say that the service from them never turn me down

As for ILLEGEAR RE-15 uhm, with the upcoming specs it's gonna be a better beast than mine. I do wonder why I'm so impatient last time but no choice due to personal circumstances.

RE-15 everything working well for me and I'm lovin' it. There's always pros and cons about everything, so do RE-15. Maybe the turn down of RE-15 will be having a normal speaker, non backlit keyboard and plastic cover lid. But the matte screen with professional calibration was nice, extra slot for alternative hard-drive like me installing a new HDD on it for storage purpose and the cooling system still doing great. Playing Far Cry 3 before and not mistaken the temperature around 65 to 70 degree celsius.

We can do but this is way more complicated than the colored lid itself. We have some colored samples and that show the colored lid is actually more beautiful than whole colored chasis.
The black/brown/grey can contrast other colors.

However, whole colored chasis is more recommended over carbon fiber.

Did you choose the i7-4800MQ? I did chose that but need to wait for stock so decided on the i7-4700MQ for faster delivery...I hope...

I am a student so  re15 takes the cake for me. No changes except ic diamond and dual channel 4gb rams.
Rm 3817 coz I skipped the os.  ( thanks to a dear friend who shared an extra key from his company).
The first thing that I will do is show it off to my friends, let them criticize me how normal this laptop looks for the price then give them a good benchmark wake up call by playing games they'd die to play at ultra.

8gb single vs 4+4gb faster

Overkill for a laptop. But congrats, nonetheless. Just one question though, do you really hate Win 8?

it wasnt my configuration. it is syafri88's configuration. if it is me, i would rather spend RM6000 for the laptop, and save the extra into my piggy bank, invest in better life insurance and start a SME business.
