Sorry, don't make any assumption, I read who thread from first post. If you mean some others make noise about 1 to 1 exchange, don't quote "squall_12" who isn't talk about that. Go learn what is quote before you quote someone's comment.

Again, you not reading previous posts. 06 is either HK or SG set, no one knows that PSVita is HK or SG except PlayTime. Even if it's HK set and PlayTime send it to HK Sony Center, you tell me HK Sony Center is so "special" that they don't give sender tracking code? LOL...

Ya, about purchase from sony shop, that one I agree with you.

Retailers orders from SG/HK reason why they do so, is because they could get cheaper cost to sell to people like YOU.
So , When they get all these so call AP sets from overseas, If anything happen to those faulty device, they've to send it back to either SG/HK for warranty , And when they do so, They use courier service like FEDEX.

When it reach to Sony HK / Sony SG , They will take their sweet time to check the vita this & that , and that might takes up to 2-3weeks minimum for checking , and they'll start repairing and IF only they couldnt repair it they will send a new unit back to the Retailer.

And the reason why they don have the tracking number, BECAUSE EVEN IF WE DISTRIBUTOR send back to them for those non local Sony centre warranty sets it need to wait up to 1-3months.

And , for your info , as i mention above, i DO work in a distributor in Software&Hardware in CONSOLE before, So don't do stupid assuming & asking stupid question how do i know so much about all these how it works.

wow thx for the info bro! i think you are the only one who work in distributor in Software&Hardware in CONSOLE! thats why u know a lot of this! so sorry for out dumbness because im just a gardener that save money just to buy vita for my own interest, thats why i cannot take it when i have to lose a thousand plus item which i earn from working as a gardener sad.gif

I am stop here for now, as I think there is no point to argue until result is out. I support TS as a customer rights, you support distributor as a seller warranty dilemma.

yep we all are idiots to him as he is the only smart person in the world thumbup.gif let me stated out clearly to our smart fukada we human have freedom to speak out when something is wrong and if i have same issue like our bro i would not waste my time going to the shop anymore as it waste my time since they dont intend to provide any update after so freaking long which is 3 month and calling customer axxholes and will do same and bring this tribunal and let as many as fellow gamer know this shop true face.

And as TS mention above, You purchase the first batch or vita which cause way more expensive than Sony centre,

Great , Then you should be responsible for what you decided to do like the rest of the gamer.
As you say , These set you know well are AP Sets. Is like a RECON cars and NEW cars from the shop itself.

AP SETS are always more troublesome for warranty and stuff due to shipping & time need for repair n resend it back to local retailers , then they could pass to you.

Also i mention for like the 2nd/3rd time , I do not agree with what Retailers has call u an A$$hole but think twice, People have already mention to you earlier, " Not yet bro , i will update again next week" and there's one more msg which is not clear " The problem is with Sony, Waiting for them, 3 SETS .... " and yet you still telling people that they re cheating on you.

sony malaysia isnt accept all model number "06"
"06" is hk,sg,my,etc model
"07" is taiwan model

they already allocated those serial number which is selling at malaysia and only accept by serial number


every single sony gaming console.. you need register online warranty with serial number from sony website.
so u know which country set ur holding.


and i stated before at lowyat.net..
every console have limited time register the warranty.. i not sure how sony works.it might be from manufacture date.or distribute date..within some period fail to register warranty.. the set is unable register anymore..


since bro kelvin u still hold the box.. u can see the serial number and try to register the online warranty.
maybe u can claim urself from sony sg or hk

sony malaysia isnt accept all model number "06"
"06" is hk,sg,my,etc model
"07" is taiwan model

they already allocated those serial number which is selling at malaysia and only accept by serial number

Hello there sir, i'm also worked at Sony Malaysia before, tech dept at mid valley. I didn't really know how the procedure for oversea set because Sony Malaysia doesn't handle them. Hello there, When i'm telling them a proper way, they are accusing me for working in Playtime / im the owner of the shop, So that's actually what is really bothering me.
