well this is whats on my box stated, and u r right lol the real model number is what the write down on the claim invoice there... same! so that mean i can really bring to Sony Malaysia here for claim or repair? i dun mind to pay on my own to repair it... at least not wasting my whole time waiting without any news!

sony malaysia isnt accept all model number "06"
"06" is hk,sg,my,etc model
"07" is taiwan model

they already allocated those serial number which is selling at malaysia and only accept by serial number


every single sony gaming console.. you need register online warranty with serial number from sony website.
so u know which country set ur holding.


and i stated before at lowyat.net..
every console have limited time register the warranty.. i not sure how sony works.it might be from manufacture date.or distribute date..within some period fail to register warranty.. the set is unable register anymore..


since bro kelvin u still hold the box.. u can see the serial number and try to register the online warranty.
maybe u can claim urself from sony sg or hk

but tell the truth..
i sell sony many vita sets .. so far 1 set that is cant repair.. (touch wood) that is front camera not working properly.. and send back hk for warranty. it took me 2 month cause of chinese new year time.
sony not changing new sets and repair it only.. after few week it happen same problem again...
my customer also fxxk up for so long waiting.. so he just say is unlucky and not use front camera function.. and didnt ask me claim again..
i also feel sorry about to him (My friend actually)..

so i would prefer malaysia set.. can claim warranty easily..
buying device is depend on luck.. nobody know 1 year what will happen..

i just want to shared my experience .. and trying to give any solution that can solve the problem

chk your box serial number and register warranty lol

u can do it.. and make sure your set is still can be register..
