I'm glad you're laughing at my expense.
I think the problem with the Myvi is that the design hasn't changed much.

Dude, I have to hand it to you.. yawn.gif Among all the trolls out there that came here to bash/bit**/complaint or whatever about preve, you're the one who kept on saying Myvi/Kelisa or whatever brand the most in short time in this thread.. sweat.gif

Thanks. I'm not complaining or bashing. I do want to get a Preve CFE but just uncertain - so I have questions and would seek advice here. I haven't said anything negative about the Preve CFE. I've said negative things against the Saga FLX.

So far pigduck has been reasonable la, I spent a whole hour or so last night "talking" to him laugh.gif Even after he trashed my lovely ex-car Saga vmad.gif

Pigduck, personally I don't think Preve is suitable for you. If you expect something easy to drive like the Myvi, you won't get it with the Preve. Coming from a Waja and Vios, I had to change my driving style when I got my Saga, then change again when I got the Fiesta.

Myvi is the closest you will get to a Kelisa without sacrificing safety (Kelisa is not that safe to begin with, mind you...): small car, zippy and easy to manuever in urban conditions, but you will lose the go kart handling of the Kelisa at high speed.

There is nothing wrong with choosing Preve or Myvi, different ppl different expectations. My gf's sis booked a Myvi last week. Had she bought a Preve, she'll probably drive it into a longkang.

I know that Dares bro. biggrin.gif Read all ur lovely chat with him before jumped in today.. Yup, he trashed it pretty bad too, Maybe he didn't read about it in ur blog, "The Good, The Great, and the Awesome" part of that Saga FLX.

I've been meaning to say something about the zippy-ness of Kelisa though.. Its been a long time edy I wonder to myself why, as thru my personal experience I've met at least 5 ppl who drove Kelisa in this world, be it a teacher, a pregnant woman, a U student, or anybody. All those 5 drove their Kelisa like crazy.. Now I think I finally understand it.. That it is because of its zippy-ness that make it so agile where the driver can drive like nobody's business regardless of where u're driving it at the moment. Be it just out of parking, or out of basement, or in Hospital compound or on a remote village road.. Damn most of them drive like there's no tomorrow.. sweat.gif

Agreed with u nonetheless. Pigduck, just click on Area51SE's siggy if u see him later to find your way there. Happy reading. thumbup.gif

Kinda frustrated to hear that Setapak 3S centre didn't have the new TCU/ECU remap yet. BTW, has the Allignment machine been installed there when u went there few days ago? It's been 1/2 year edy.

Sorry for trashing the Saga. Maybe the test drive unit was lousy. icon_rolleyes.gif

I like to imagine myself driving along the highways and byways of Malaysia after getting my Preve - experiencing the wonderful sights but I'm pretty sure that won't be happening. I would probably still drive my Preve to work and back from work... but I like how spec-ed out the Preve is with the interior. Cabin is important to me. I will be sitting in it a lot.

What do you agree with me on, Saya_Dhuang?

I must say I drive like a Kelisa maniac too. The handling is just ... amazing. My family grip the handles when I drive.

Yeah, a bit disappointed when heard no ECU/TCU reflash. I guess alignment machine been installed just recently and I asked for free alignment this morning the SA said only before 1k only entitle for it...adui, I said last time during 1k service your alignment machine not ready yet. At last, no alignment being done la. But, luckily last time I did the alignment for free at COSE whistling.gif

I think will go COSE tomorrow to update the ECU/TCU, also to check for my wind screen ecotint claim status...totally no update from ICare. shakehead.gif

Hello everyone,

Been following the thread since the beginning. Really nice community we have here. Driving a white Preve WXD ****.
Last Monday (A day before Deepavali) I went for this TCU, ECU & HU update at EON Glenmarie.. Saw a bunch of Preve done the same thing as well. Really glad I did despite the long wait. Coincidentally, a proton technician was there to assist EON technician on that day. The response is different now. The lag is minimize now at acceptable level. Don't really feel that sluggishness anymore.

Anyway, for added info, if you guys read hypertune magazine, a preve was on their cover page in their latest edition. Modified by Works Engineering.. really nice I must say..

have you already made an appointment with COSE for tomorrow? I called them this morning and was told that they are full this week. After that I made an appointment with Proton Edar Puchong this Thursday morning to update the ECU/TCU.
