have you already made an appointment with COSE for tomorrow? I called them this morning and was told that they are full this week. After that I made an appointment with Proton Edar Puchong this Thursday morning to update the ECU/TCU.

remember someone was turned away by COSE when showing up without making prior appointment but of course you can try your luck...

that's the correct address and they told me the earliest for me is this Thursday. Think it's better you call any of the Proton Edar service centers first to ask if they perform the remapping and make appointment with them instead of just showing up without one. You know, to avoid the hassle and disappointment.

Can anyone tell me what is the current or latest update version for the HU?
The SA who attended to me at Proton Edar service center Puchong told me they have updated my HU but I don't know what is the latest and what does it improve on...
BTW, I have updated to the latest ECU and TCU and so far the impression on my day to day driving experience has been great i.e. good pick up from stationary, no jerking at low speed and can increase speed up to 170 with ease (ran out of road on a short sprint). So far so good.

Yes, absolutely.
They have also ordered 2 warranty parts for me, gave me a written note too, the left side mirror and a black vertical strip for my right rear window, the current piece is loose and a bit sliding. Both are no big deal matters, just something nice to get them fixed.
Would not be able to comment about the FC though, will not be driving my red preve for maybe another 2 to 3 months.... going to really miss the thrill of driving it, even without any update.

sorry don't think I can differentiate if the engine sounded differently pre and post update.

I rate my HU radio reception as clear and good i.e. Hitz, Mix, Fly, Light, 98.8 etc

Mine shown the same error messages previously but the reception is still clear and good.

Fire red was not my first choice but after owning one for close to 7 months.... IMHO, it's the most gorgeous colour of all. Give it a good waxing and enjoy the view under a bright sunny day.

Preve's boot is large enough to store the 2 parking mats and the parking sign. This will not happen in our cities because there is not such thing as free parking....

When I went to remapped at Puchong SC, I also noticed a light scratch about 2 inches long close to the driver side door handle... I didn't make a fuss over it, maybe I don't have the stamina to follow up with them anymore, just want to be done with it i.e. the remapping. Will try to use rubbing compound to try to remove or minimize it.

mine is set to auto light since day 1, 7 months ago. So far so good.

sorry if this sounds silly but can the stock HU of the CFE display just the time without tuning to the radio or the GPS or the CD etc.? I saw someone posted a photo in FB (no, not a friend) where the time was being displayed right at the centre of the display.

maverick, thanks for getting back to me on this. i, too have been waiting since around July last year. using the excuse of waiting for vendor is really getting mouldy lol. anyone knows if the newer batches are still having problems with their seats?
