After ECU/TCU update :-

I can 'feel like' driving a normal AT car with 'SPORT' mode ON. Like the gear changes at higher rpm so there is no more sluggishless feel.  icon_idea.gif  It is much easier to control the pedal now. The rpm moves faster than before from 1k rpm to 2k rpm. I can feel The power come earlier at 1.8K rpm rather than at 2k rpm previously. Now at 2k rpm, averagely I can get up to 80kmph, previously is at 90kmph. However going downhill i can still get up to 90kmph at 2k rpm. Overall, i am satisfied with the update.    I got an extra 30km mileage on my first full tank.  icon_idea.gif  I done all the remedies to my Preve and now only left one more thing to do. That is to leave one more day at SC to dismantle and reinstall back my dashboard to rectify the vibration issue on hard acceleration.  icon_question.gif

Preve...G R E A T  C A R ! for those who have less than RM100K to buy car ...like me.. rclxms.gif

bro... i tell u... dont spend SO much of money for your first car...
dont forget you may have family and house in the future...
i strongly suggest u keep so money in your pocket to get non-liabilities stuff instead...

i forced to get myvi 6 years ago bcos no launched new saga yet as maintenance issues on my family car as i travel often for work...
otherwise i will go for new saga instead as cheaper price compare to myvi...

luckily, i still manage to get a DSL house and my salary enough for family + 1 baby...
problem is i still that poor even thought my salary have triple jump from 1st salary... sweat.gif

Now i forced to get bigger car due to family commitment... otherwise i still stick with my current car instead...

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Dec 10 2012, 03:45 PM)

but wondering what so difficult for P1 to release a upgrade package since Forte also have leather seat and airbag inside the seat too...
i think nothing about technical issues that may cause the air bag failed to deploy...

but may go for other car instead if still no leather seat (even after market) as worry my children pour beverage on car seat and caused the stain... doh.gif

try long distance drive for consistent of 100~110kmph. if overtake 120kmph should be sufficient. if can tahan and drive that speed limit. with 2 to 3 passenger in the car with few luggage full tank should be more than 600km. rm 85 full tank of ron 95. after that your reading should be 10.2 or 10.1

if only the 2.2L can be raised to 2.4 or 2.5L, then it can be a good contender in the D-segment.

The Malaysian market still have strong affection towards displacement afterall.

too bad the Y series engine got cancelled though. The Campro, IMO is very very old already. sad.gif

looks great! how much is sierra glow? is there only one type of service offered, or there are different levels of sierra glow like how window tinting works(higher heat rejection=more expensive)?

It costs RM 700 for a full body glass coating. The material used was silica, by the way it includes head lamp, tail lamp, wiper arm, basically the whole exterior of your car. As for tinting, I went for Smoke 20, which means VLT 20%. The darker the tint the more expensive it is. The heat rejection was superb now, front tint was Raybarrier (same as our standard rear windscreen tint) with heat rejection up to 97% compared to the lauya standard tint which has a heat rejection rating of some what 80% only. The reason why I chose EcoTint was because, they can offer me warranty for both layers of tinting, although I am paying a little bit extra, but I certainly feel that it's worth it.

what is the purpose of glass coating? because of it's white and the stain will stick easily?
