If proton have given leather seats or better seats, we do not have to replace the driver seat in the first place.

about the rusty part at the exhaust part, can it be done at any service centre?

sometimes really frus when customers are waiting and see all technicians grouping together and do nothing..especially if it is just the normal service..

just now drove from south back to KL, the stupid AES camera keep flashing eventhough the cars are travelling within speed limit..not sure I kena flash or not, but i definitely was looking at the speedometer, travelling less than 90km/h ..  sweat.gif

This kind of culture is tarnishing COSE and other SC for that matter. Lack of discipline or maybe head technician also like that? shakehead.gif

This is the same feedback given by reviewers of the new Hyundai Elantra, Kia Optima K5, steering too light because it is electronic as opposed to hydraulic. Too much assistance kills the joy of driving.

totally agree, and about the water repellent, not true, doesn't work.

sigh, malu lah, back rest got sound, window got sound, aircon got sound (when set medium speed)... my future parents in-law were in the car...

mat79 contribution on the driver seat could be useful, it could be that due to cost cutting measure, Leather Seat or premium seat are sacrificed..... shakehead.gif

Far from irrelevant, Proton have gone leaps and bound in terms of build quality and meeting global standards...to say that it is milo tin is just irresponsible.

I think we Malaysians put too much emphasis on brand.

hmmm... updates on my ride CFE. recently found out that this plastic C pillar inside the cabin start to come out from the groove.
I try to press it hard. it is intact for a moment. but after a drive or two it came off again. i wonder if those clips start to worn out...or is it the plastic need to use 3m sticker to stick it... this is after 7 month ++ of owning this car..

i hope this can be rectify in COSE. now is 15k milage already so when i reach 20k++ i will go cose again. to check this matter

Please check the battery terminal whether it is properly tightened. Also please note that the car battery only is charged when the car is moving.

Hi guys,

I'm now in Glenmarie sc, made an appointment last thursday by phone call and visit them for alignmennt service. But today they said the appointment was not recorded. What kind of service is this?

Say need to wait very long if I want to do it today. My milage already 1600++km and going outstation, no choice lo.

Anyway to make an official complaint for this?

Proton, you need to buck up la, if you want the public to have confidance in you.
*
It is not just proton service that sucks...other service as well. For example, try booking bus ticket to singapore via a luxurious bus coach company, made a call and confirm booking of seat. Try calling next day and reconfirm again, the agent said that your booking was not recorded.

I think sometimes the people behind the customer service line should be blamed and not the company. Shame though that these few bad hat spoils the reputation of the company.

As for sierra glow, better make appointment with him 1st before you come in, also try to come during weekdays not on weekends. Sometimes there are so many cars that we have to wait for our car to be treated.

Recording conversation require software (money), database for access & retrieval (money), space (both physical & digital to store data, more money), server hardware (money), server room with cooling and other requirements (more money).

You see, management just gives lip service about customer support. Good customer support require money, and when management looks at the cost, all they can think about is "We must reduce cost". That is the management style of Malaysia it seems.

Finally the Customer Service Representative, they need proper training. That require time & money.

+1 on cost reduction but why the management never think of downsizing the top level? There is so many personnels up on the top level and paid enormous sum of money doing strategic and business planning while the lower levels are the one doing the real work and paid peanuts....

Maybe we should record the conversation just like the banks doing it..  laugh.gif

I think there is an online booking for proton service, or was it perodua..forgot d.. can use online booking and have black and white record..

As for the car coating, near the wheel arch, always have tar/bitumen from the road, it is impossible to wash away even after coating..
if I use those tar removal product, is it ok?? the coating will be gone??
*
Better use clay bar to remove the tar.

sorry if i ask silly question. plan to buy my 1st new car

The car chassis num is found under the driver's seat and under the car bonnet. I do not think it is the manufacturer's date.

Got this from Ecotint website:

Question : What does Ecotint Warranty entail?
When installed by Ecotint authorised Installers, Ecotint warranty covers:-
• Peeling, cracking, delamination, fading, decolourization and demetalization
• For 5 to 10 years depends on the specific Ecotint series selected.
Such warranty is void if the product is subjected to scratches, abuse, improper care, loosen window panes, poor grouting, natural disaster or installed by unauthorised installer.

What it matters here is the SC that broke your windscreen should be held responsible for fixing it back completely. Not asking the owner to go and claim the warranty from Ecotint, they should contact Ecotint and fix it..
*
If such a small issue of asking compensation from SC is so difficult, bigger issue even worse shakehead.gif
