I suggest you don't man. The Gundam:Human ratio is screwed. You need to get smaller humans to stand beside a Gundam for a more realistic effect. smile.gif

if that is 1/100 scale MG kit there is archtecture figure line at 1/100 scale
believe the human figure in the picture is 1/72 scale which is way too big for 1/100 scale kit

for human figures the smallest and more easy to find is 1/72 scale. just suitable to 1/100. although abit off too. or u can collect those 1/100 figures that come with MG kit.

wow...144 figures is really rare. Nice stash, Fodder Soldier~!!!!
*
actually you could use N scale figures from railway model line
N scale is 1/166 but close enough to 1/144 and they usually come in pre-painted - though cost a lot for the pack of 6-12 figures

for 1/100 scale MG kits you can use either HO scale figure or TT figures though only TT figures I could find is for Archtecture figure line - you know the small figure they use on the building miniature

I don't think 1/144 military men figurines are rare over there in Japan. People there are so obsessed with tiny collectibles (there are ALOT of 1/144 WWII planes/tanks/ships being produced, it's not even funny), I bet 1/144 military men are all over the place, only harder to find compared to the same scaled tanks/planes.

And yes, the guy who did the Sentinel in maintainance diorama deserves to get shot dead, not get a prize for his shitty work. I doubt the guy ever watched/read up about Gundam series to care about the fact that Gundam units are usually 18m in height.

won't much of help since don't think you have railway model chain we have over here...

I looked up on yellow pages and called one of shops specialising in building miniatures for archtectures and they told me to check out couple of shops and HobbyCo in the city had couple of these a.m.r.i. figures. There are more in this range like tables, chairs, and etc. all in 1/100 scale from what I heard from the shop

I suggest to try to contact one of those model/miniature shops in your area and ask where they get those small figures biggrin.gif

oh starghazzer's post somewhere up there has got some nice pics.

anyways, im wondering why the kits in the pictures at this http://h3.dion.ne.jp looks SOOO different from those in HLJ and Dalong.net

for example, IJ:
Dalong's IJ
and..
h3's IJ

o.O notice the difference in color? Dalong's IJ has got a very pale red while h3's is the real vibrant red. and for the jetpack thing, Dalong's is Maroon while h3's is purple. And h3's IJ looks so damn good.

and another example, SF:
Dalong's SF
and..
h3's SF
err, wasnt the real SF supposed to be fat? i dont know, maybe its just me, but i really think h3's SF looks so much better. like its been hitting the gyms.

oh and i loveeee the gorgeous paintwork. FLAWLESS. omg, i cant even see stroke lines or any imperfections for that matter. notworthy.gif

silly post huh..i just thought i wanna share wat i noticed between those two. but really, shocking, aye?

I'm not sure about the Strike Freedom (h3's one says version 2 blink.gif ) but the IJ one's pretty obvious. The dalong one's a 1/144 kit while the h3 one's a 1/100 kit. tongue.gif

I just realised the picture of the box on h3's site is a 1/100 Justice, not IJ.
