sousuke, drift.
the head itself got 5 parts. so masking is very minimal, most of the part is separated well enough. it feel like snap-fitting a plastic kit actually. of coz need glue. it is rock hard n solid feel, but very easy to saw, drill and sand. This post has been edited by StormV: Mar 9 2006, 10:54 PM |

QUOTE(sousuke @ Mar 12 2006, 03:24 PM) Cool~!!! Can't wait to see it. But even i promote it, I doubt there will be many potential buyer from here. consider the price and u need a MG Freedom also. Best bet is wait for MG release. J/K. QUOTE(hyperx @ Mar 12 2006, 04:51 PM) erm, i want to ask a question. Why is it in the picture at the box and manual for BB gundam model blaze zaku phantom iclude the stand? But there's actually no stand comes with this model.. i think it mean the Stand is sold separately. and the Stand is come with SD Force Impulse Gundam only. here to solve all the myth about topcoat and super-clear. ppl who know chinese should know it by now by looking at the picutre below.
on left is TopCoat, it is water-base. Won't harm decal. on right is Mr Super Clear, this got much better "proctection" then TopCoat. Coz this is lacquer base. But it will dillute water base paint and decal. each type is categorized in Flat, Semi-Gloss and Gloss. ![]() This post has been edited by StormV: Mar 13 2006, 07:04 PM |

QUOTE(320cbr @ Mar 13 2006, 08:15 PM) so water-based paints will mix with the decal, but does it apply to lacquer paints? if so, then the lacquer paint of coz won't be harm. but the decal still have the risk being destroy/melt regardless of base paint, if u use Mr Super Clear. just that water-based paint will make it worse.and do you mean the dry-transfer ones or water slide decals? but, so far, I found np with Mr Super Clear coat over water slide decal and sticker type. only dry transfer got melting problem if overspray. dj898, nice shading effect, dude~~!! IF u dun cover the seamlines(gaps) with putty or superglue, and u r using hand-paint method. |

QUOTE(Fodder Soldier @ Apr 19 2006, 08:28 PM) Well, not yet, cause I like to follow my regular modelmaking procedure of quick-assembling the kit first, leaving it as-it-is for preliminary study and scrutinization of t........... hmmm...sound cool. but all u collections seems snap-fit only. did anyone of those kit did go through u regular procedure ? mind sharing ? According to Plamoya-san's Useless Diary, following are rumors of future Gunpla releases after June. Below are considered somewhat reliable: HGUC Zudah (from MS IGLOO) HGUC Zaku I (color variation) MG Gundam F91 These are rumors: HGUC Nu Gundam HGUC ZZ Gundam MG Guntank Again take this with grain of salt. |
