did anyone realize the price tag on this IJ? Could it be the MG version?

2000+ yen doesn't buy you a MG anymore. MG thesedays costs 3k~4k+ yen. Unless they're smaller units like The Ball.

for that price, it's even more expensive than my destiny and blue frame... and i believe it doesn't have more parts than the two mentioned. So what's the reason for jacking up the price? shakehead.gif and to think that iwith this kind of price the proportions are still out doh.gif

meanwhile.... the nightmare is true... OMG... they've ruined the series and now they plan to ruin the 1/100 line as well?? shocking.gif

I need some help from you guys...I'm fixing up my Freedom MG and I think there's a problem with the shoulder area. There seems to be a gap at the 'armpits' area. See the picture below...

This is the problem I'm having...the shoulder is 'jutting out'  sad.gif

it may sound obvious, but try pushing in the arms all the way.
if cannot, make sure its the correct polycap inside the upper arm.
if its the correct polycap, you can trim the insides of the polycap a bit using knife/file or whatever

Is it really THAT HARD to buy a model kit that you like the most?

The 1/144 SEED line are made of meh and mediocre. They're all the same, with the same kind of quality, never heard of any complaints about loose parts and whatnot.

The GSD 1/100 line was already ruined from the start, what with the uninteresting lineup (Bandai: WHOAMG WE HAVE 4 EXCITING ZAKU UNITS THAT ARE ESSENTIALLY THE SAME THING ONLY WITH DIFFERENT COLORED TREES!), and the lack of kits for superior designed units like the Windam and Blast Impulse.

Yeah exactly, I've always wondered why they never produced kits for the Blast Impulse and Windam. Those were some sweet designs there.

I also wished that they would produce the Astray with the Flight Pack. Imagine that in MG or PG. drool.gif

I've heard that the Blitz is a much sought after kit, although I'm not sure about the quality though. sweat.gif

Oops, I mistake Blitz for the Duel. Gomen...it's the Duel that's popular. I dunno about the Blitz. sweat.gif

Maybe you can try searching for pictures online and then decide for yourself?

if you are doing the diorama in 1/144 scale you can use N scale railway scenic model kits. They make variety of buildings, figures, cars and etc.

For 1/100 scale try TT scale and if you cannot find HO scale would do.

N scale is 1/166 but close enough to 1/144 and TT is 1/100 though it's harder to find (try Architecture supply shop) than HO which is 1/86.

one issue is as these kits generally tend to cost arm and leg.
wait till your railway model shop is having sales day to stock up. biggrin.gif

Of coz you could make the building full scratch using plastic plates or hardrock.
Or even thick gauge paper

I think it is bcoz of the transformation that makes it look bulky or rather retarded as u mentioned it. Saw Blitz in shopping complex recently, i think it looks cool, at least dun really looks disproportion... smile.gif
