Questions:
1) can anyone advise where to do "auto central lock" when the car started to move? If possible, the one approved and not void warranty. I fear the security of my wife and kids la since few cases oledi nearby my residential;

2) anyone know whether "getah" from mangga tree stick on my white PC can be removed with a simple polish job? Feel like cutting the tree as my other car is black!

i have installed auto lock device, its like a plug in device and can be removed anytime you want...doors will auto lock once speed is 4 kmh. will unlock when off engine. i'm so used to auto lock as my previous vios comes standard with it. about the tree sap maybe try turpentine or maybe tar remover. can get from diy shop. don't use thinner as it will harm the paint cc.

Thanks for the reply, Wan.

Actually I did visit for a test drive on a sunny day a couple days back. As usual, everything happen so fast and before I notice anything the test was over. It was very tempting to book it as there is a promotion starting this month until end of the year, as the SA told me that's a RM3k off for Prius C and RM2k off for Prius. Anyway next weekend I will be going back for another appointment to test drive the Prius, maybe at the same time I try to ask the SA for another test drive on the Prius C again. The only thing is holding me back is the trade in for my current car is very low, so I am trying to maths out the cost of this hybrid car down-payment and instalment. I still can't make up my mind to go for this or the Prius. And in between this two prices, there are others hybrid car which is not a full hybrid. I don't want to regret getting the wrong one  later on. Any thought guys??

Currently I don't see much of the PC on the road at klang valley, did saw one last week on NPE in the morning but haven't seen one after then. Maybe everyone are still waiting for their unit to arrive. Cheers!!!

if you are thinking between a c-segment sedan like prius, vs a little city hatch like prius c, yet have concerns with trade in value of your old car, you seem to be really confused about what you want. i suggest you firm up a budget as well as what you want in the new car, before continuing with worrying whether hybrids can go through floods, how will a b-segment fare on motorways and the likes of that.

I do not think the heater will operate when only the fan is running. The air is hot because of air recirculation. We exhale hot air and naturally the air gets warmer over time. If you allow air from outside to come in by turning off the air recirculation switch, it will not be hot but could be smelly.
*
you guy's PC got heater function as well? my last car all are malaysia car, never experience got heater one.. i dont think the heat is from the recirculation, i do tried to turn the air circulation off and let the outside air come in. but the heat is still there, until i turn the switch to 23 degree, the wind is back to normal.

for normal home electric item, motor, aircon and heater use alots of Watts. and i can see my battery bar drop alot on that day. meaning if you are in genting and u put the temperature too high, heater will consume your battery?

all these are jz based on my guess...

Saw a white PC on Old Klang Road this afternoon. It was at the traffic light near the police station. There was a Myvi and a Jazz in line with it at the traffic light stop. Actually it is not small at all comparing with the other two car(exterior got a better sporty look). I think it look better compare with the others..... icon_rolleyes.gif

If those display dashboard gauges are more to the driver side instead of in the middle, I think it will be more better. When you are driving is hard to look at those dashboard gauges in the middle and the same time have our eyes on the road. But I think Toyota did this to make them look different from others.

I like those Civic dashboard gauges, they look pretty cool. If we can modify those into the PC, how nice would it be or get some other stuffs like hologram display of the speedometer. drool.gif

Hi to all Prius C owners,

Just got a few questions for you guys. Before I go and book one.

1) Can it handler less then half a feet height of flood water on the road? coz I concern about the location of the battery (maybe this a stupid question)...
2) Travel on highway, does it have the wobble feeling like kancil when a heavy lorry pass by?
3) The foot space at the back row seat is it comfortable for the passengers to travel outstation?
4) How's the power? slow pick up after traffic light stop?
5) I saw a lots of review mention that the back row seat is suitable for 2 person only, coz the middle seat is not really comfortable due to the spacious, is that true?

Appreciate in advance for any answer from the prius C owners. Thank you!!!!

1. Half a feet height, which is 6", My Prius C passed through flood few weeks back at Serdang which was height enough to cover half a wheel.

2. Very minimum wobble feeling even very fast car pass by, not like my previous Kancil smile.gif

3. Foot space is good enough, this car has 2550mm wheelbase, same as VIOS and City

4. When battery is more than half, it is quite powerful

Interesting...i suppose the plug n play doesnt require any screw and unscrew of the dashboard. RM2++ is pretty reasonable also. But i have recently learned the "trick" from "plastic man", and i think that is practical and acceptable also....hehehe.

On a different note, i wish i could join our first PC TT this Saturday, but unfortunately since it's Hari Raya Qurban, i got to handle a few "cows" la in my neighborhood. Hope you guys will discuss on 2nd TT in your meeting ✌

You are right, i sometimes drive it up to 125km/h at Kesas and it is very stable and quiet (unlike the normal car which will start roaring at 110km/h). It is way too much than what I expected from the car similar to Myvi's size. Hopefully this is because it is PC, not because my car is new. rclxms.gif

I bought a Hybrid because I want to drive slow and save fuel, but end up i am sort of addicted to speeding.
