i see, glad that it's normal to have 14L/100km for city drive with jam.

yup, long distance drive can get around 8L/100km @ 110-150km/h, acceptable for me, unless i drive @ 90-100km/h to get 7L/100km.

Last 3 months also kena bang at the right side and now left side pulak..

Left side back bumper also out of alignment..come out a bit, i think the clips inside broken liao..

The bottom reflector damaged..left side a lots of scratch marks..some very deep cannot be polished..

All these motorcycles ar..bawa slow sikit x boleh ka?

Kalau baca di forum kereta, mmg banyak benda negative since people tend to highlight problems instead pf syok sendiri talking about how good their cars are.. Before i bought my preve i visit preve, ford fiesta forum to check on issues of the car, kalau ikutkan kedua kereta pun takut nak beli sebab tiada kereta yg perfect, especially newly launched cars.

I just got Preve 1.6 Exec 1 month ago. So far so good just the pickup a bit slow.

Also notice the engine sound when idle is a bit weird. Quiet for 10-20 secs then very loud for 10-20 sec. You can hear the sound clearly when stand outside the car but inside won't feel the sound. Not sure if this is normal.

What bro Ai609 said is correct & it is absolutely normal. Try to turn off the aircond, u will notice that the so-called 'very loud' sound is gone U will also occasionally heard this sort of 'weird' sound when u already turn off the engine. Just seat back & relax..it is just a fan that running automatically for a while to cools down the engine. This fan will automatically turn itself off after a while

Managed to tangkap the fellow or not?

My wife myvi very bising dengan bunyi air-con on and off.

But forte totally none.. I donno when it is on and when it is off. I set 24c most of the time. Ipzuta, how about your forte?

my neighbour hit my plate with his avanza tyre
broken plate and minor scratch
baru je lepas basuh

My wife's Preve also kena already..long & deep scratch at lower rear bumper. Dont know who did that..a careless driver at the parking area i guess..simply run away. Luckily no kemek at the bumper...

Guys,

Is my car's jerking normal? It jerks when it is slowing down by releasing pedal, once in a while it become more serious that I can see the RPM going up and down more seriously while driving.

I managed to ALWAYS reproduce the problem by cold starting the car then switch to reverse gear.

Need you guys' help, is there anything wrong with the engine or gearbox?

I think it is the OCV problem. Some member had this problem and change the OCV solved the problem

Terimakasih atas cadangan anda,saya suka dgn keselesaan yg ada pada kreta ni.Mungkin berguna kalau2 saya balik ke Kota Kinabalu,Sabah.Siapa2 yg pernah ke Sabah,tau lah jalanraya di sini.Saya berada di Sandakan.Bonet cukup selesa untuk dimuatkan beg.Itu yg jadi berminat tu,tp kureng mampu utk beli Preve CFE.Jalan dari Sandakan ke Kota Kinabalu,melalaui jalan landai dan berbukit.Itu yg jadi berbelah-bagi tu.Mana tau ada kawan2 yg sudah guna IAFM/CVT cuba bawa naik ke kawasan curam,spt Genting ka..Mau tau juga mcmana kemampuan Preve IAFM/CVT ni.Tak kisah la tak laju,asalkan boleh mendaki..Terimakasih...

if that happen then try to engage to Neutral again, the engine should recover the RPM back, then try to reverse again, normally this I got this situation if the gearbox is still cold (but my car is FLX SE using IAFM+), try to give just 5 - 10 seconds for gearbox to heat up a little before engage any gear .
