I meant kilometer. However upon recent reading, I strongly believe do not exceed 40K mileage for Iridium Power range. 30K kilometer is the actual life span, if still perform ok, then can extend further. Some wanted to maintain optimal performance, if that is the case, then 30K kilo IS the maximum.

how to know the spark plug still perform ok??open and check??hard to start engine??

FYI, my machine once in awhile become like yours, but after meter clocked >3k, the problem was disappear. in my opinion: maybe some new car need more running mileage for the engine to be stabilised.

Maybe the TCU or whatever that controls the CVT Clutch has learned your driving style and adapted to it, hence "clutch adaptation".

I also observed the same thing. The launch from a stop is smoother now and less jerky compared to the time when i just received the car.

I've done 8000+ km, 3 months.

Yesterday, I can see COSE guys only spray silver paint to other cars as well.

The funny thing is while those guys are spraying so many cars inside the service bay, the lady SA said no la..we don't spray spray one, and ask me to go to other SC..what la..I think she is a new staff la..
she is not in the picture..

guys im considering the preve 1.6 cvt executive @ RM62,990.00

Isit worth buy ? Good for a lady driver with very little/nill knowledge in automotive maintenance. Just SC for all servicing.

Mostly used in city driving and very seldom highway travel.

Please input it is a viable choice.

TQ

yup mismatch of color...anyway no biggie

heavy heavy rain this evening, jam 2hrs from klcc back to cheras, i notice the headlamp slightly condensed, that should be fine since no water in the headlamp.

edit: btw, i notice when in the rain, my windscreen, got some stain where the wiper wouldn't able to wipe off, i guessing it's oil stain but when i wipe it, i didn't see any oil stain.

the demister seem to be not working, i wonder was it due to the tint that actually reduce the effect from demister. will ask sc to test it.

bloody proton yet to give me the answer whether a spare/loan car can be arrange when i send in for owv change, driver seat change, rubber linings change, glove compartment change, driver side power window fix (aside from bulging door switch panel, now gruk gruk sound can be heard when winding up and down window) and so on

otherwise i have to visit sc everyday to get it fix one by one...proton oh proton!!!

TQVVM for this useful info bro. I guess i need to replace my Denso Iridium Power plugs soon. Reaching 30k km mileage for the plugs already (on my Forte). Since that i drive sedately most of the time, i believe i can extend the plug usage a bit further, perhaps until the next scheduled service.

yeah, only myself driving alone most of the time. i'm not heavy footer and i always keep a distance from the car in front.

hmm, maybe due to jam... wonder if owv contributed to higher fc. asked them to check ocv but according to them no problem with it.

Walau...u slept on your keyboard ar? He he

I found that before and after my preve owv change, the fc still remains the same. Don't put too much hope on it or else you will feel disappointed.

Guys, just got my new white CFE two weeks ago, CN15xxx, immediately noticed the car doesn't run very smoothly when reducing speed by releasing pedal or when the RPM is around 1250 - 1500, I can feel the engine is jerking all the time for the above condition, one or twice the jerking become more serious that I can see the RPM going up and down automatically by 500rpm++

Went to service center and I think they just helped to reset the ECU, (They verbally told me is "tune" balik), also complained during 1st service, but now still same. Any idea guys?

I think the cvt is still learning your driving style, i read somewhere from mat79 post, it will get better over time.

You are not alone.
Long distance, its getting really good FC but city driving. Nightmare.

My house to office, was around 4km only.
The best FC I get thus far, 13.38litre/100km
