QUOTE(Petre @ Sep 24 2012, 12:22 PM) He's also got it right about Suarez's exaggeration. He needs to take that out if his game. I understand that gamesmanship is accepted in certain corners of the world but I don't like to see it personally. It doesn't help his cause. It's like how I never believed Ronaldo was ever fouled.

QUOTE(mkaz @ Sep 24 2012, 12:10 PM) allen is not in position wehn he was with swansea.. he's more to DM here instead of AM.. next game i want him and gerrard lead the attack and sahin take DM role.. I can't think of anyone that serves the DM role better than Allen atm, not until Lucas is fit to play again. Sahin is more of a luxurious type of creative midfielder, he might be chasing/closing down players and making interceptions but I bet you won't see him storming back to provides cover for defensive holes or getting in tackles to win us the ball. While Gerrard is fine now since employed in a deeper role. He seems to be more patient by not forcing through passes, trust his mates more and let everyone works the game plan. Of which reap us the benefits, we've been better with our passing since then.

QUOTE(Petre @ Sep 24 2012, 12:59 PM) anyone got the pics showing valencia gone down before contact? also suarez's clear penalty foul? valencia probably lost his footing, despite the clipping just before the desperate lunge by Johnson in his hope to recover from the losing position at midfield tangle. as how plaudit neville described it, if only suarez 'held' his head under the challenge, he would have gotten the penalty call. Makes you wonder, it's no-wonder mancs have perfected the art of winning penalties. QUOTE "The problem is Suarez threw his head back and he didn't need to do that," Read more at http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/man...CYIC6kE66kzk.99This post has been edited by koolspyda: Sep 24 2012, 01:03 PM

That was one hell of pass to Sterling, hw could you not love that? And Borini's movement was excellent albeit the poor finishing.

QUOTE(leftist @ Sep 24 2012, 12:09 PM) not even a minute into 2nd half in 2-3 years time when he becomes a regular 1st teamer..i can see barca or madrid come sniffing..put 50m release clause i say IF he doesn't put in signature to new contract soon, that day may not be 2-3years, rather 2-3 mths. QUOTE(Petre @ Sep 24 2012, 12:22 PM) Doesn't he seems to mellow down & rational alot now that he's aging?

Not sure who will play in Shelvey's role in the next league game, though. Will BR start Hendo/Sahin alongside Allen and push Gerrard further up or will he continue Gerrard+Allen in the deeper role with Sahin further upfront? Looks like the kid is really good at understanding the fast movement better than other players. Suso is next to get there. Now that Borini is unfortunately injured, hopefully BR will play Suso on the left, Sterling on the right and Suarez centre hence Gerrard will have plenty of options to make his killer passes while Shelvey bomb forward and Allen disrupt opposition's passes.

QUOTE(Lifeis@mess @ Sep 24 2012, 09:51 AM) quote from football365.com However, some time after the final whistle, when most of the Liverpool fans had left, a couple of home supporters ran across the main stand to the far corner, where the visiting contingent remained on police orders, and started making aeroplane signals. It was an obvious reference to the Munich air disaster in 1958, in which eight United players were amongst 21 people who lost their lives.United fans responded immediately by chanting "Always the Victims" and "Murderers" in a reminder of the Merseyside club's own recent tragedies - Hillsborough and Heysel I dont buy the quote from football365.com . Someone just posted the video about the sick chant from skysports.

As usual, MU supporters will escape the ban while Evans and Van Persie will get away for their 2-footed lunge. Shelvey will serve his 3 match ban, Liverpool will not appeal and keep quiet. The world moves on and soon the incident will be less and less talked about. But if it's the other way round, Alex Ferguson will taunt the FA, the Referee and LFC for months and make sure the world knows who is the culprit. Tolerance is all we got left. It's sickening but what else we can do. We are David playing against Goliath's dirty rule.

That's the last of our early nightmare fixtures right?
If we do not get results soon we are going to WIP ourselves into relegation.

Putting the the manner of the result last night behind us, I'd say we're pretty well setup to tear into our next opposition. Assuming we can get ourselves similarly motivated that is.

QUOTE(chaukeng @ Sep 24 2012, 01:49 PM) i dun buy tolerance for the post 'always the victim'. What to do? They are "always the big bully". If they win with superiority, they will taunt us that we are lousy. If they win dirty, they will taunt us with "always the victim". If they lose, however we play, we are always the guilty party and most particular blame will be on Suarez for diving. That's how they have scripted their mindset. There's no changing it.

These has absolutely nothing to do with football on the pitch. IF Suarez receives severe punishment for being a racist, mocking the dead should be something 10 times more serious. The fact that no one over there reprimanded them nor mention anything about this issue shows their guilty conscience.

Over the years, how many times MU got away with everything. They are the big brother. Their fans are also the big brother. Other teams exist to provide them a bigger triumph while songwriters will write about their glories for years as we watch our past glories fading away. It's like watching a horror movie year after year. This post has been edited by dillonyong: Sep 24 2012, 02:07 PM

no matter you touched the ball or not but when you lunged with 2 footed in the air or studs being showed it should be straight red card - for Shelvey case yes it is definitely a red card for me
As for Evan and VPS go figure it out yourself.
We did well yesterday night and I do hope we can continue playing like what we did last night. Borini should be benched while Suso should start more. He looks more promising than Borini.
