Shelvey was rather reckless with his challenge last nite but he was the victim of the unfortunate situation. It could have easily been the other way round.

Suso couldnt play borini's position, he is no striker nor winger. Suso is actually in the mould of Alonso, a playmaker if you've watched him play before. IMO, Borini did really well last nite. As a striker, his runs were fantastic in the last two games. Exactly what a striker like Borini should do, something that Andy carroll couldnt do. He just needed to be more clinical in his finishing. The way he plays will open up defence for the likes of Gerrard/Shelvey/Suarez to score. He is improving.

One decision right doesnt make up for 3 wrong decisions. Their supporter only thinks Shelvey is guilty but not Evans nor Van Persie. They also think Suarez dive and Valencia getting the penalty was correct. People like that are enemy of football. Fans of club but enemy of football.

Not sure how you are intepreting it but the way I see it, Shelvey went in the challenge with his right leg, his left leg was firmly planted on the ground DURING the challenge itself (far away from Evans and the ball). After the contact with the ball (Shelvey won the ball btw), his momentum sent his whole body forward, he had to move his left leg or his leg will break. His left leg left the ground AFTER the challenge. Compare that to Evans whose both leg left the ground DURING the challenge, and both leg going towards the ball.

i think most of us are more angry to the fact that the ref should have sent both off. not just punish shelvey. heck evans didnt even get a yellow

in another 10 games if suarez dont score at least 5, i think we should look at the possibilty to cash in on him. would easily make at least 20m if RM wants him right?

he has become more of a liability than asset. yes, mazy runs... etc etc. but in the end, he is our CF and we expect goals and penalties from a CF
