Pairs well with Apple Edu Store (MCC 5732) since no 0% EPP payment option for education orders.

AVS- RM55.50 cashback
AVI- 3k points for online and another 3k for eWallet

both are equally good.

Maybe old timers of VI here have discovered this trick.... but just to wanted share again

Since VI 8x tbp is capped @ 3k for ewallet and 3k for online spending, in case you already fully utilised the 3k limit for ewallet, what you can do is continue pay with shopee pay at merchants as usual, but instead of deducting from your wallet balance you can choose spaylater instead. After that just settle your spaylater with VI, which will count toward the other 3k limit for online spending

I have no prior banking relationship with Alliance. No defaults on loans or credit cards; all paid on time.

I meet all the criteria for applying for AVI but got rejected, which is a bit puzzling to me. Has anyone encountered this situation before? If yes, will having a bank account with Alliance Bank make it easier for the credit card application to be approved?

Negative for my case.
My application had been rejected twice, even though I had my salary & bonus credited consistently for more than 10 years.
