Do you cancel it? Any service tax incurred?
*
I called to waive the service tax. Activated the card due to some promotion back then. And found out that the card is actually quite nice to use especially when you shop online a lot.

If use for online to collect TBP with 3 cards and max out, you can get 4800 Enrich miles liao. Enough to fly to KK for free, but with airport tax

Yes HLB can give you RM25 credit but you need to pay RM98 for Annual Fee (no waiver)

Hi guys, I have a few questions and hope you can help:
1. Is SPayLater payment considered an eWallet transaction or an online payment?
2. What is the MCC code for SPayLater?

To ensure payment to SPayLater gets maximum 8 TBP, reload to ShopeePay first (no "convenience fee" anyways) then use ShopeePay to pay SPayLater.

I think that's not necessary. Paying with your card directly for SPayLater is already considered online transaction, 8x tbp already and it's seperate from your ewallet RM3k cap

Correct me if I'm wrong though. Just based on my experience from previous credit cards, usually paying BNPL is considered online transaction unless got exclusion clause

8TBP only if designated "Online Shopping" like Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, Amazon, Agoda etc. etc.

The other 8 TBP will be ewallet reload - ShopeePay being one and without "convenience fee".

So, sure way is reload to ShopeePay and then pay to SPayLater.

Problem with these points is banks don't itemise which spending gets what point.

Have you tested this?

Because so far all my online transactions including bill payments are getting 8x TBP

I am using the reload-to-ShopeePay-then-pay-to-SPayLater very often and the points add-up about there.

Even for bills, I will also use the same method instead of directly to the biller/ merchants.

I can't even finish the RM3,000.00 limit for 8TBP for ewallet reload as I don't reload to other ewallets than ShopeePay.

I will use credit card, cash or bank's duitnow QR function - in that order of preference.

That means it's unconfirmed information

Maybe someone can confirm if paying using credit card directly to SPayLater is consider online transaction

I use Shopee Pay, Grab, TNG ewallet so I'll max out the RM3k ewallet limit almost every month

I confirm paying back SPayLater bill with CC is considered as online payment.
I maxed out my ewallet 3k, hence using SPaylater for the online 3k
