damn ... the website state 500 points for every 10k loan, thats damn huge difference compared what the SA to me RM1 loan = 1 point  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

RM1 = I point is for CC Spending.

If RM 1 loan = RM1 point, it would be very gooding, imagine taking RM500K housing Loan = 500,000 points. But that's too good to be true.

that's why i statical, but it's actually not that much, most of the RM100 cash voucher require 43,900 points, so 500k points = RK1.1 voucher.

for a 500k loan, 30 years with effective 4.4% PA interest, the interest each month is actually around 1.8k per mth or around 20k for first year. whistling.gif

If alliance bank redemption point is 43900 points for RM100, then 2x point offer for local spending with VI only equal to 0.46% only. Isn't that too little as compared to maybank which offer 26250 points for RM100 aeon voucher?

whether has cap or not, the tier based rebates is not attractive.

that depends on individual expenditure.....if i use for my medical insurance .....i ll get 3% off as mine is only RM3k...if no cap i can get RM90 cash back vs my ocbc RM30 only...
if they have cap RM50 per month like most card do i can get rm50 dy...

Bro, it is tiered base up to 3% cash back, it does not mean you will get RM90 for RM3K spending. What you will get i return is approximately RM50 for RM3K spending. Which is still better than OCBC RM30. Click below link to see the tiers:

http://www.alliancebank.com.my/Personal-Ba...rs#younique-tab

If you are looking for cash back cards for up to RM3K spending/month, click here to my article The Best Cash Back Credit Card Combo and see in particular the last table, Alliance You:nique pretty good for up to RM3K/month.

I did not read but is it clearly stated in the T&C? If yes just file in official complaint or if you want to, involve BNM.

as per advised by Gen-X above, you won't get rm90 cash back for rm3k spending. as per you:nique tier based chart, your first rm1k is only 0.5%, second rm1k is 1.5%, and third rm1k is 3.0%. so your actual effective rebate rate is around 1.66% only for rm3k expenses. and if you spend more than rm3k, your effective rebate rate will go lower than 1.66%.

QUOTE(ciohbu @ May 15 2014, 09:58 AM)
3k per month ?

i think should be annual medical insurance due.

apparently i couldn't get the points because my name is the secondary name in the loan application. sleep.gif

told them i'm going to complain to BNM if they don't settle it, so now wait and see.
