Hey guys, anyone ever faced or is facing a blinking red LOS light and when you try to open a webpage, it doesn't load but load the Thomson router page instead.

I went in to the page and it shows my eInternet is disconnected. When I click on connect, it fails, saying 'Concentrator not reachable'. icon_question.gif

Bro Sonic, one known reason is that the TM ONT is not plugged in correctly into the Port 2.
TM ONT has been configure to Port 2 to connect to Maxis Thomson Router. Please do not change it.

Hope it helps!

Hi wokan,

Thanks for the info but sadly it didn't help much... As I've stated, my LOS light is blinking Red.... Based on what I got from http://www.tm.com.my/ap/osh/Documents/UniF...20%28ONU%29.pdf , the red light means that there is no optical signal coming through.

Based on this http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=53018404 , TM could be doing some maintenance but then again, if that was the case, many people would be complaining... My neighbours are not making a peep. Weird...

To all the previous user that is having problem with public ip, do you all still have frequent dc problem? or idling ? (still connected but browsing doesnt work) after 31st of August?
*
now dc (re-connect eInternet to work) around 3 times a day, improved >50%.
i enabled thomson firewall in august, but doesnt seems to help.
though more than a week ago i requested private ip due to public ip issues, somehow i'm still on public-ip...

would you kindly provide tracert from maxis corporate account to starhub?

Now that you mentioned it, I gave it a try between my home and office Maxis connection

Ping to imail.starhub.com

Maxis Business Fiber 4M over TM access: 60ms
Maxis Home Fiber 10M over TM access : 230ms

They're both over TM access... so I guess there is some preferential routing for business...
