anyone can advise me what setting to change to able to watch pps & uusee?
after using maxis home fiber, not able to watch pps anymore.

my home fibre installed on 17/7/12 and started to count from this date.
Bill I received stated RM168 and discount RM100 still to pay RM68.
My question to maxis call centre is my package suppose to be RM118 and prorate accordingly.
Maxis customer service not able to answer my question and log a ticket to investigate.
Have wait 7 working days only can know the answer.

Days from 17 Jul to 9 Aug = 24 days
Total Jul days = 31 days
Normal price 10Mbps = RM218
Early bird discount = RM100
Early bird price = RM218 - RM100 = RM118
Total pro-rated bill:
( 24/31 * RM218 ) - RM100
= RM168.77 - RM100
= RM68.77

Actual prorate based on RM118 = 24/31*118 = RM91... you sudah UNTUNG lah
Still want to call CS to clarify

Your calculation is correct. I think the Maxis billing system programmer forgot to prorate the rm100 discount

That's a special discount for giving crappy services for the first month.

And not all Sg servers have acceptable ping

SG depend which ISP the servers are located
normally singtel or starhub
but maxis seems only connect with singtel
as a result it need to route via singtel to reach starhub

the bottom are 2 tracrert made this morning
singtel is about 60ms starhub is above 200ms
if not mistaken tm or time can reach both singtel and starhub below 50ms ping

Look under the Period column in your invoice...

26 July bro.... Total bill amount RM 105.65, dont know why deduct RM 100....

RM100 is suppose to deduct full month of RM218 to become RM118.
So you paying RM5.65 for 10Mbps from 26-July to 5-August

my bill is 70+. so I guess, no hidden charges at all
