i understand u r Maxis FTTH reseller, but trying to discredit me is pretty lame.
wont help ur sales here

The thing listed...
1) Fact 1: August 2012 Maintenance > their reply on the forum
The internet speed will affect P2P user but not on normal web browsing until 31Aug! remember?
Wat does this mean to u? They are working on P2P Throttling Software lar

2) Fact 2: Gamer complain! High Latency > Please check this thread...
International routing and bandwidth pipe is like low quality bandwidth packages.
They buying 10MBps pipe, but we use 20MBps, so what can they do?
Throttle the speed [slow = high latency] and redirect it to other country lar... [+hop = high latency]

3) Fact 3: MyLaunchPad redirection.
This one no need to explain... everyone have it!!!
Software not intelligent and it pretty stupid to redirect it EVERY NOW AND THEN,
happen during active browsing too

4) Fact 4: Authentication Server.
Happen to me FEW TIMES, Thomson unable to authenticate my ID.
Im valid user, but my ID is like illegal immigrant...  sweat.gif
At first it resolve after few hours. In worst case have to call CS to reset it.
I have to correct you with the FACT 3, that's not true.
Please DO NOT use 'EVERYONE' when you cannot represent others.
I gotta to say that I'm totally out of this since day 1, never got hijacked even once, none of my devices and machines.
SORRY for my capitalized words, just wanna clarify that, because I'm extremely sensitive with the word 'EVERYONE'.

For the fact 1, erm.. I have no comment.
For the fact 2, I'm not a gamer so I just ignore it.
For the fact 4, I think ronnie may be right about public IP because my private IP doesn't have this issue.

To public IP users here: Is the frequent disconnection / DNS-time-out error solved or still persists? Was told that it should be fixed on TM's side about two weeks ago, but I still haven't change back to public IP, was worrying that this troubling issue hasn't been fixed and continues to haunt me sweat.gif

I am on public, no issue for me, but again I am not a heavy user, only use at night, so can't say for all.

Does anyone of you guys have problem logging into your account to check data usage? I can't seem to log in since last night, even after resetting the password. Odd as I could log in earlier on before Mylaunchpad changed their interface style.

My service has now been down for 3 days, tried resetting and reconfig, still no connection!

The CS says it's a TM problem, all of the MHF affected, I say wtf? But you guys seem to be ok. Anyone else facing problems (and having alternative internet access to post here)?

I have both Unifi and Maxis connected to the same BTU. Unifi is stable whereas I am facing the same problem as others here with Maxis's Thompson router. So I don't quite understand why it is TM problem.

Different vlan, different behaviour. Same physical link, doesn't mean upper layer behavior is the same for all.

This started almost at the same time for affected users. So network issue is a possibility. Though I don't believe it's TM fault entirely, probably interconnection issue between border of Maxis-TM.

u can gtfo! get over it! vmad.gif
this is a world where the minority is ignored.
almost everyone = everyone.

if you get your ways,
then even your words have to be rephrased, talk about politically correct.

stick to the issue,
what you are sensitive to isnt anybody else's problem! whistling.gif

actually im waiting for pika chu to answer...
since he is all talk oni, i will entertain u...
---
it is okay if u see the way i use my word is inappropriate in your context,
u have ur right to correct the misunderstanding.
---
my whole intention is to highlight the problem whether it is old or current
since u have it, that mean it is true at some point...
imagine, how do u feel when someone redirect ur url, happy?
for me i really hate it, you can throttle my speed or hv high latency... but redirect my page is nonono
there are one time i login to maybank2u(https), and it redirect me to mylaunchpad... F*UK

fact 3 remain: REDIRECTION IS REAL, it still happening...
just yesterday i left my laptop on for half an hour with browser still active,
and when i resume my activity it redirect me again...
this happen mayb the way i set my browser... with donottack, adblock and some greasemonkey script
anyway im glad for you guys since u guys never have it,
---
fact 4: IS REAL too... ronnie is wrong whistling.gif
when u develop a device, u need to confront with IEEE standard.
Otherwise u will confuse the whole world.
In this case it failed at radius server-authentication level, not authorization level
if not enuf IP it will said IP allocation failed and will not list authentication failed

Tried that, not working. I'm pretty sure of the username, but, I really can't recall if it's a password or PIN, but I suppose it *SHOULD* work if I reset the password and it says "reset successful" but when I keyed in the new password, still doesn't work.
