QUOTE(dyn09 @ Sep 23 2012, 11:27 AM) Sure you still have to setup your extreme, just like you setup previous Internet setup... If i no mistake, At setup wizard, 1 of the section, Choose 'bridge' instead of 'DHCP & NAT', otherwise it will detect 2 NAT. Added on September 23, 2012, 12:26 pm QUOTE(zaniel @ Sep 23 2012, 11:55 AM) Hi all, i came from Bukit Serdang and i am experiencing the same problem with your guy that my desktop and laptop could not connect to thomson but my smart phone able to. From this thread, i found out that i might be able to solve my problem by hard reset the router. Actually, after you hard reset, the information already filled as default by maxis, just click on 'next'The problem now is i am tenant of my unit and the internet service was installed by owner and she is not so sure about the username/password and etc. My concerns: 1) Any extra informations are needed if i would like to re-configure the Thomson router? In addition of username and password? 2) How i can get the username/password info? Thanks and looking forward for your guy's reply. what you need to fill is example: 1)username: 12345@home.maxis.com.my Password : 12345(+1) *If you are public ip, pls change to public.maxis instead of home.maxis 2)CHOOSE: TM 3) VOIP: URI : 0387654321 username : 0387654321 password : 0387654321(+1) 4) Skip hot spot : UNTICK This post has been edited by fruitler: Sep 23 2012, 06:50 PM |

QUOTE(peri peri @ Sep 23 2012, 04:13 PM) hard reset the thomson router only enable u to surf with only 1 pc or smartphone at one time. U need to assign in the ip address with different id to other pc or smartphone if u want to surf simultaneously. i still can access wifi internet for 5pc of my devices (dynamic IP) But THE ONLY thing is, when I try to open XUNLEI (torrent download), The internet will immediately down and unable to surfing or online. I'm just afraid, are they working on something to BLOCK torrent??the maxis have confirm the problem is at their network and server site due to ip issue. The above is only a temporary solution. A Method from Maxis Helper:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on September 24, 2012, 10:22 pm QUOTE(peri peri @ Sep 24 2012, 09:33 PM) my advise to all, after u reset the router, make sure only 1 usage. if u try use the other to connect too, it will jam the router. not sure when will maxis resolve but i will update to all from time to time. After I did Master reset again this morning, I'm successful to use my iPhone, iPad and PC simultaneously, and no any hang, What i know is just dont switch off the modem and then it would be OK...my affected area in balakong and also, once the pc restarted, connection will be loss as "identified network" u need to reset the router again best of lucks Btw, I dont try to open Xunlei or any torrent downloading and bla bla bla currently.. Today seem like internet back to normal without changing router, because when the IP issue happened, i couldn't see any connected devices (WiFi and Ethernet) in the Thomson GUI (192.168.1.254),
but ONLY now I can see all of the connected devices. Hope it is truly get back to normal. This post has been edited by fruitler: Oct 4 2012, 12:21 AM |
