I look at it (speeding) in different perspective. I want to serve d government by giving money & enjoy while doing it. Hence..speeding it is. I'll be glad to pay all d summons i got & enjoy the "Need for speed" that I'm born with. Both parties are happy... me & government.

i have a humble suggestion for ya since your worry is on the speed performance more then safety and summons.. why dont ya get BMW M5, Lexus 300, Merc AMG SLS/CLS or A5/A6 Sline? all mentioned cars are under D segment category and definitely can help you to reach your objective easily..

do share with us the driving experience after you bought one of those..
peace! thumbup.gif

Dont get me wrong...my query is mainly on understanding how underpower it is. At 10.9s for 0-100 clearly its not that far of from let say the new focus at 9 something second.

For comparison sake as well, my forte 1.6SX 4spd stock is quoted at 12something second & i myself on a good day & road stretch able to hit 180km/h.

I did not drove any other d-segment car before and I can not give you my opinion on how underpower the K5 is.
The only thing I can mentioned to you since I'm driving K5 for about 3 months time, it lacks the "sudden power" or if I interpret it correctly the torque doesn't really there when you need it to be accelerate.

And, I must admit myself that it is a little not match with the so beautifully designed sporty exterior look. sad.gif

But, for me I'm really enjoying driving it as I want is a beautiful design, confort, luxury and within my budget car. No doubt as I mentioned above it lacks the torque but ultimately what I do really emphasis is the smooth in driving enlighten me and for long journey driving it is really fantastic! rclxms.gif

Nice perspective of yours, sometime while enjoying speeding also must take care of your safety too !

Thanks for d feedback. "Underpower" is a subjective thing. Thats why i ask for 0-100 reading. That at least suffice to generalize whether a car is underpower or not. It may felt underpower at lower speed but should be able to accelerate back to speed after that.
For example, polo sedan felt very fast at low speed, it really give u an impression that its a fast car but still it take 12 something second to reach 100km/h.

Well K5 safety is good right. Hehe. No worries, its not like i'm a rempit. Most of the time i drive normally at 120~130km/h on highway. Once a while only i'll push d car. Dont tell me u guys had never ever push your car before... smile.gif

Yeah... the Polo sedan is somehow similar with Vios, however Honda City is the opposite way which you will feel like underpower when at the low speed... my personal experience...
I do push the car but not really that hard la (coz still new ma, tak sampai hati biggrin.gif ), and i love the stable feeling when driving above 140km/h... just the tyre noise a bit annoying only.. perhaps is due to the 18' in rim... but i'm ok with it la biggrin.gif

Normally built in UV is not sufficient for a car nowadays especially in Malaysia which is a tropical country.
But it is depend..if u re feeling comfort in the car, then no need to add extra tinted film. smile.gif

Dear bros,

I saw the technician spray water to the engine after testing drive my car. Is that a common practice?

Attached Image

Also, after the change of engine oil, high rev produce white smoke but after some time high revving doesn't produce white smoke anymore. Is that common as well?

the white smoke maybe from the spilled oil when they pour the new oil in. When the engine starts, the engine hot parts will burn the oil, hence the white smoke

if it clears up in a while, it is okey then
