Lol... Sometimes I go to random car forums and see wat people are talking about, some trolling, some fighting, some discuss about the problem they faced while driving or any problem with the car looking for solutions, some on mods...

But one thing I realize, k5 owners seem quite happy wit their cars, no major mod discussion, not much of problems faced with the car... Seems like a trouble free and satisfying car:)

Now I think I hav made the rite choice to decide to buy this car:)

One last thing guys, is there any news on k5 may increase price in the near future?

SA ask me to wait for the new batch, which is suppose to be using Nu engine and unconfirmed rumour (from myK5club FB SA) of DVD+GPS youch screen HU (which my SA does not think will have in the new batch).

If based on the Nu engine for Elantra 1.8, which is MPI D-CVVT, the Nu 2.0 for K5, the pick-up (I think) will be worse than Theta II engine as torque is only readily available from 2.2K RPM and above. And remember, the Elantra is lighter than K5 also.

So if I am not mistaken, with the Nu 2.0 K5, you sacrifice performance for better FC...

Yes, taukeh ... how? Is it true the new batch with have new Nu engine and GPS+DVD? I can still consider buying from you if you make me a good offer even though I am from KL, if can get both of the above plus good trade-in price & discount  ...

Ours in Malaysia is NU engine CVVL. Which is better? CVVL or CVVT?

Just came back from show room. Didn;t know the current version do not have GPS/LCD screen and the seat cooling system........  a bit dissapointed. Still thinking..  Forte 2.0 or K5..  hmmm..
