The guy on the phone say 2.55% is standard before nego with the bank officer.

From my driving style and point of view, here is my pro and con

Forte 2.0 -
lighter and smaller makes it perform better, with build in LCD and GPS, cheaper

K5
Simply beautiful, more stable and quiet on highway but less acceleration. better sound system

Added on November 10, 2012, 11:35 pmBTW... anyone know how much to change the K5 dash to the LCD?

no dude, all current K5 is fully import (CBU unit), but without GPS/LCD head unit... and most of the head unit u see in youtube is lefthand drive, there is after market head unit ..but im not sure how it works yet.. and most import, will we have to scarify our Infinity sound system or if we install the head unit by our own...
*
The LCD/GPS is just the interface and the infinity sounds system with 8 speakers will should be able to link to the LCD interface without any issue. The SA from Glenmarie mentioned the GPS/LCD can be installed from 2-4k. 2k are those non-original and 4k are originals.

ya.. Things are so quiet here recently. I still waiting painfully for the loan approval of the buyer of my old car before placing an order. I doubt k5 will have CKD soon? I prefer CBU.... Hope can join the club early December

Got my car on Monday and have been driving it since. Dunno how to compare to Theta II since mine is on Nu engine and I upgraded from Honda City.

Here's my few observation:

1. NVH is very good
2. The engine (to me) is super quiet during engine startup and idling
3. The Infinity sound system is fantastic
4. The easy access and memory seat really help a tall guy like me
5. BT pairing for IOS and Android are easy, except it doesn't seem to auto connect when I re-enter the car
6. Am lucky did not encounter weird sound from sun roof, or from the internal cabin
7. The tyre is very noisy on wet road but better on a dry road
8. It is not a performance car so do not expect "pull back" feeling from dead stop pick-up
9. Very stable and reaches 160km/hr easily when cruising on highways
10. BT streaming, using the right type of USB to play MP3, will need some manual reading and trial-n-error

I am doing mostly driving with 50/50 highway/city and my 1st full tank seems to be on target to get about 700km if the meter reading on my car is correct. The past couple of days, due to closing of SMART tunnel, has not help with the FC as I was caught in some pretty bad traffic. Maintaining variable speed of not more than 110km/hr 90% most of the time, so I am quite happy with the FC.

Wonder how's the turning angle compare to city.. Easy to park?

White is among the most difficult to maintain. Common knowledge.

But the K5 look the best with white.. the black top and lining with white body just look fantastic.. biggrin.gif

I m very confuse. I m planning to buy k5 but now I can see a lot of complain n anybody ask b4 for the 2011 kia k5 sale value,is that very low if compare with T or H.Can I ask all of the sifu over here is that the car underpower compare with new T camry or H Accord.I had drive 2007 T camry b4 but I give 3point out of 5 points. pls advice.
*
Both Camry and Accord 2.0 series has fewer transmission speed and less torque and horse power than K5. That says a lot if you're talking about performance comparison with Camry and Accord. But if you want a performance car you should forget about K5, Camry and Accord... and get those car with turbo with much higher torque. I test driven Preve, Forte 1.6, Forte 2.0, K5, Passat... my order of performance is Passat > Preve > Forte 2.0 / K5 > Forte 1.6. But ride comfort is K5 > Passat > Forte > Preve..... my 2 cent

to be honest, if you are looking for a performance car, K5 wasnt want u want, better get a c segment 2.0 such civic, lancer, mazda3 or etc.. Dsegment is more of comfort and luxury
*
Too bad we don't have the turbo variant.... The style does look sporty.

Cant understand why some people like to choose performance car rather than those cars (not just saying K5 but other cars as well) that provide much comfort on the car when now we have all the AES here and there and also the bad traffic in KL, unless they use highway most of the time then they can perform the power of their performance car.

My 2 cents.

I guess it's the acceleration after green light or toll booth and then the heavy break before the traffic ahead that trills some people...

I look at it (speeding) in different perspective. I want to serve d government by giving money & enjoy while doing it. Hence..speeding it is. I'll be glad to pay all d summons i got & enjoy the "Need for speed" that I'm born with. Both parties are happy... me & government.

Go to race track for that purpose.... You might hurt other people as well...

But I been driving my wira at 140km/h on PLUS highway most of the time when go out station with few traffic.... I do felt 140 is still a safe speed..

- Auto Cruise no problem
- speed 120 -140km/h
- tyre still ok but bumpy and noisy abit
- underpowered but still ok
