haha....can't believe the crap i wrote actually made sense to anyone, can't even understand it myself when i read it back... that's the blardy difference work does to you 7-8 hours later, brain turned into mash potatoes (waiting for the milk and lumps of butter to be poured on and stirred to creamy consistency, evidence that i am quite the hungry at this point in time of posting that i will gnaw on my own brain)

24mm and 31mm???... 7mm difference lar... a ruler will tell you that... jus kiddin..

as i say.. it all depends on what you ride more... flats or road going skywards? and choose your wheels accordingly.. that is why there are climbing wheels and aero wheels as differentiation... and a kind of wheels known as the "not up not down" category like the Zipp 303... not aero fully... but also not the lightest possible... and totally meant for the un-decided and fickle minded riders... or was designed by the bastards who are sick and tired of their mates always complaining of losing touch with the group due to bringing the wrong set of wheels to the wrong route... anyways... bike stuff is as confusing as women... i wish there is a instructional guide too... but there is jus none...  and that is plain frustrating... ain't it hard enough to court girls... now we have to deal with life choices when choosing a damn hoop??? WTF!!! (ok... too dramatic... tone it down)

if you find no clear directions.. jus go with the force your heart...

actually.... measurement always exists... like the recent MTB 29" / 29ner fad... and then the 27"/650b or something like that... jus those asswipes using different measurement system to make shit sound more sophisticated...

sheldon brown distilled quite most of his knowledge onto his site... he might be gone today.. but his knowledge new or outdated continues living in some server somewhere in "god knows where"

http://www.sheldonbrown.com/

not the most techno junkie material... but... it'll do fine for now...

fulcrum's range is very confusing as they have a lot of products classified based on rim materials..

the FR0 can be considered as an all rounder set on the malaysian market view... but if you look at the entire fulcrum range... it is now considered the climbing wheel within their aluminum range with the introduction of racing quattro...

as for the full carbon tubular series.. they have the aero racing speed xlr (not very common here, as most will go for Campy Bora Ultra 2) and climbing set Racing Light XLR

then to confuse it even further... they introduced the Red Wind series which is a Carbon rim with aluminum brake tracks...all aero wheels at this point with no introduction on a lightweight climbing set i think...

so, fulcrum almost have a climbing and aero set within each category of alu, alu/carbon, full carbon

while if you compare zipp.. they will produce climbing, all rounder, full aero as in 202,303, 404 respectively... then they will introduce carbon tubular, carbon clincher and on certain models carbon/alu clincher... the only exception is the 101 full alu clincher which they wanted to hit the entry level market with...

confusing as shit rite...jus like prada bags of which year and which season... SHIT!!!.. we are just like a bunch of women!!! FAK icon_question.gif

35 updates from my last visit...! im back! yesterday on leave! renewed 5 years driving license! hehe...

the only time my legs are cramp is during 42km marathon... should be lack of mileage clocked on legs and de-hydration faster than hydration... cramp...

knowing ur legs by going more distance and longer plus more frequents, it's helps to prevent cramp.

since then, cycling never have cramp... even my 100km ultra... no cramp...

oh yeah... in my last 42km recently (where i only train in last 2 weeks), or 210km ride to Ipoh from KL, i had Hammer endurolytes kaw kaw! 1 hour 2 biji Hammer endurolytes pills to prevent cramp. at least it's work well for me.

Xero? My golden coloured Wheel on my Giant TCR SL3 is Xero Golden wheel !!! thumbup.gif

This Sunday, anyone is riding up Fraser hill ???

For the sake of KOM training, and sake of Fraser hill photo with lifting up bike in front of Tower clock, 70km is worth it...

we are not doing it weekly nor monthly ma...

soon, im going to try new nutrition... new diet... it's can gives you "explosive power" whenever needed in cycling... no wonder my P2K member can be so strong. it's train smart... brows.gif
